Yay for Friday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea, Erica, and Narci again and sharing my favorite moments and favorite things from the week!
{ONE}- Chatbooks! Andrea mentioned these several months ago but I didn't have enough storage on my old phone (#photohoarder) to download the app. As soon as I upgraded phones, I got the app!
They are $6 per book and 60 photos per book. When I downloaded the app, I had almost enough Instagram photos for 10 books! I decided to start with 5 volumes to make sure I liked them. Volumes 6-10 are on their way! ;)
You can choose to exclude some photos if you don't want them in your book. They take your Instagram photos and put them in to these awesome books for you. I love that the date is in the top left on each page and you can include your captions. I feel like this is a great way to have my Instagram photos of the day in print!
You can choose what you want the books to be titled and they put the Volume # and the dates of the photos in your book on the spine. Love!
The kids love them as much as I do!
Here is a code for a free book for you (and $1 off for me) if you want to give Chatbooks a try!
{TWO}- Spring dresses
I never used to buy clothes at Wal-Mart, for the kids or for myself. I follow @woahwaitwalmart on Instagram though and they are always posting cute Wal-Mart finds! I've started browsing through the clothing section when I'm doing my grocery shopping. This week I found these adorable Spring dresses in the girls section.
I thought this one was cute too! Maybe next week. ;) You can find it here. It looks like there are limited sizes online.
These are actually the colors that were in store at my Wal-mart, but it wouldn't let me link to them once I clicked on the dress. I bought the mint color for my girls. (I love to have them wear matching clothes) ;) You can't beat that price! I don't have high expectations about the quality of the clothes I buy at Wal-Mart (you really do get what you pay for sometimes), but even if they get to wear them a few times I'm happy when the price is so low.
{THREE}- Spring weather!
When it hasn't been raining this week, the temperatures have been perfect for being outside! The kids were happy to be able to get out their new scooters on Wednesday night.
She also loves to ride her brother's old tricycle.
She is still getting used to her upgraded scooter but she loves it! (Yes, we still had our soon to be 6 year old riding a 3 wheeled scooter until just recently) ;)
I love that we live in a cul de sac on a street with low traffic. It's great for the kids to be able to ride their scooters and bikes!
The Easter Bunny brought sidewalk chalk so we had fun drawing rainbows on the driveway.
And the boys played basketball. I'm no expert on the rules of basketball but I'm pretty sure I snapped a picture of a foul in progress. ;)
{FOUR}- Natural insect repellent
Unfortunately along with the spring weather come the insects! We've already had a lot of mosquitoes around our house. My friend Robin and I were just talking about making an insect repellent with essential oils and then I found this one at Target. It doesn't have the exact same oils but I decided to try it!
If this works well I will be stocking up!
{FIVE}- Girls Weekend!
This weekend is my annual girl's weekend with a few college friends! It is one of my favorite weekends of the year! I love that we have kept this tradition going. This is a fun flashback Friday photo of the four of us from 2005. Ten years ago, how is that even possible?! We will miss you this weekend Brooke!
Here are a few post from previous girl's weekends just for fun. :)
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

Have fun on your girls' weekend! I'm going to read through those posts of past ones now and steal some ideas. Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you Cat, I will! We do basically the same thing every year but hopefully you can still get a few ideas! Have a great weekend. :)
So jealous! Have a great weekend!
I have been wanting to try those chatbooks, but I too have no room on my phone :(
Thanks Vanessa!! Well it sounds like it's time for a new phone. ;) I think you might be able to just go through their website but I'm not sure. It might be worth looking in to! Have a great weekend!
Thanks for the insect repellant tip -- I'm going to give that brand a try too I think. Have a great girls' weekend! Sounds so fun!
Have a great time on your girl's weekend! I'll have to check out the chat books, they are too cute!
