Every time I get groceries, I feel like we run out of one or two things the next day so we're always running back! Lately whenever we make a trip to WalMart, this funny girl has to hug the gnomes. ;) This was Friday morning.
Friday was so beautiful! The kids and I made a quick stop at the park after school. For some reason our son didn't want to go to the park. I tried to make him laugh by telling him to make his grumpiest face. #nailedit
Oh how I love these three!
She was having the best time!

Nice faces!
And silly ones. These faces are cracking me up!
This guy never wants to have his picture taken, so if he asks me to take his picture I will gladly do it. ;)
My sweet guy and I!
Christopher and our 5 year old had daddy daughter date night on Friday but we had some time for dinner and to play outside before they left. I love that they have been getting so much exercise lately!
I'm not sure he thought this through. ;)
Sweet girl taking a break to sit with her Momma.
After Christopher and our 5 year old left for the hockey game we went for a walk. Our son hasn't been riding this style of scooter for long but he is really good at it now! He loves to "glide".
How sweet are they looking at the pond?!
After our walk we had movie night and watched Penguins of Madagascar. The kids saw it at the theater with Grandpa Ken and Grandma Pam but I hadn't seen it. They were excited for me to watch it with them.
We had what the kids call "trail mix" (popcorn, m&m's, and mini marshmallows) while we watched the movie.
The girls were playing in their room on Saturday morning and I started to worry that it was so quiet. I went in to check on them and found our 3 year old surrounded by books. :)
Our baseball player had practice followed by a practice game on Saturday afternoon. The girls and I went to watch the practice game because the weather was so nice! I sure love this kiddo!
I haven't seen my friend Adrienne in months and she wanted to get together on Saturday afternoon. Christopher had to go in to work right after baseball so I asked my brother Travis if he would mind watching the three musketeers for a couple of hours. He's a great "kid". Thanks again Travis! And let me just say it feels weird to be asking my "baby" brother to babysit! He used to visit me at college on little sibling weekends and now he is in college and able to watch my kids.
Our 5 year old is pretty good on her new scooter too!
It was so good to see this lady! We went to a winery not far from our house. It was the first time either of us had been there and we really liked it! It was great to chat and catch up. I've missed her!
When we got back Travis and the kids were playing outside. The kids were playing "family". Our son was the Dad, our 5 year old the mom, and our 3 year old the baby. That made me the Grandma. Nice. ;)
I asked Adrienne to take a picture of the kiddos and I before she left. I take so many of them but a lot of times I forget to get in the pictures with them!
We went for another walk and our girls insisted on riding the tricycle. I was sure our 5 year old's legs would be tired not far in to our walk.
Our girls' friends saw us pass their house at the start of our walk and talked their grandparents (who were there babysitting) in to taking them for a walk and meeting us. ;) Our kids were so excited to see them!
We didn't make it to church on Sunday morning. The kids all played so well while we got a few things done around the house.
She apparently needs options when it comes to her toys. ;)
We knew it was supposed to rain in the afternoon so we played outside for a while before lunch. I think they were playing family again while I attempted to organize our garage. He looks like a cozy coupe monster here. Ha ha!
I'm not sure how they both squeezed in to that little seat. ;)
This sweet girl somehow got a bloody lip while they were playing. She wanted me to take a picture so she could see her injury.
I got the "Show Us Your Disney Side" app on Friday night and we had a lot of laughs playing with it while we waited for our food at dinner on Sunday night. It's Captain Hook!
I absolutely love this one of our 3 year old as Anna!
Christopher even got in on the fun. This cracks.me.up! I don't know how it does it, but when you make the picture in the app it makes your eyes blink and your facial expression change. That part is a little freaky! ;)
Our little beauty, Elsa. I wish their were more Disney characters to choose from, but for a free app it is pretty fun.
Our sweet kindergartner read her poetry journal to her sister and I before bed on Sunday. I love to hear her read!
Have a great week friends!
