On Friday we met my friend Emily and her kids for lunch at a pizza place downtown, and then went to our local science museum. Thanks for making the drive to spend the day with us Em. We were happy to get to see Emily and the kids twice within a month!
While the older 4 were pretending to play an arcade game, this sweet girl was looking out the window.
We had to take a picture as an astronaut shortly after we got to the science museum.
Big sister.
And goofy big brother.
Our 3 year old wasn't quite tall enough to moon walk with the older kids so she entertained herself by spinning. ;)
The moon walk is a favorite part of the building!
He's done the moon walk several other times and enjoyed it just as much today.
Emily's son has super strong legs and loved the moon walk!
Her daughter seemed to feel the same. :)
They wanted to go to the tornado simulator. I couldn't tell if they liked it or not, but they wanted to go again so I guess they did!
Light room
She took a turn when the older kids were done.
Trying to catch the falling parachute.
I just love this girl!
And this one. ;)
The kids call this the "crazy room". Crazy is a pretty accurate description. I get dizzy just looking at the picture!
The boys found the water table!
If you look closely, you can see the big bubble.
This girl loves slides! All three girls went over and over again.
She's always finding ways to look cute. ;)
Our 3 year old has a funny expression, but I still love this of the 5 of them.
Emily was trying to keep the boys occupied by taking funny pictures while our very slow eating 3 year old finished her snack. This picture made us literally laugh out loud. These boys are such good buddies when we see each other. Love it!
Our 3 year old made a new friend. ;)
While our 5 year old visited an igloo.
From what they tell me (I wasn't about to go through it), this tunnel is pretty dark inside. That didn't stop them from going through again and again!
We had such a good day! Let's plan to get together again soon Em!
One of our kindergartner's friends in her class lives a couple houses down from us. She has a little sister the same age as our youngest and they walked over and played for a while on Saturday afternoon.
Cute little friends riding their scooters.
Our 3 year old was happy to go for a ride in the Barbie jeep! I think the four girls will spend a lot of time playing together this summer.
On Sunday we celebrated Easter. We are so thankful that Jesus is Risen!
The kids and I went to the church that Ken and my Mom attend for the Easter service. The girls did not want to leave the nursery when I went to get them after church. ;) (They call it the nursery but it's for babies up to Kindergartners).
My little loves and I.
Love these kiddos! Even though it looks like it pains my son to have his picture taken. ;) I think his eyes are really sensitive to the sun.
My mini me and I
Cousins!
My sister and her kiddos
I forgot their buckets for egg hunting at home, but grocery sacks did the job! It was so windy!!
I love this picture of my goofy niece.
He really had to reach for the egg in that tree. Ha ha!
I barely got him to slow down long enough for a picture.
This sweet guy filled his bag pretty quickly!
The kids love a good egg hunt!
So much for a nice picture of my niece. Travis! ;)
Yay, basket goodies! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!
The look on her face says it all. Yum, chocolate!
Robert just loves to have his picture taken. Can you tell?
His face in this one!! ;)
I don't know why they suggested this pose, but it made us all laugh. Nice to see both my brothers smiling!
Nice of him to take selfies with my phone. ;)
We all stopped at my Grandpa and Grandma's house on the way home to wish them a Happy Easter. I love this one of the girls talking to Great Grandma.
I love my Grandma's face in this one. She looks so happy to be surrounded by these crazy girls. ;)
The boys and Great Grandpa Bob.
The Easter Bunny made a visit to our house while we were gone. The kids couldn't wait to find their baskets and other loot. ;)
Egg hunt!
The Bunny hid all the eggs in the living room and foyer this year.
Our son was NOT happy that the girls started before him and had found nearly all of the eggs by the time he was ready to start looking. He did find one egg. ;)
We enjoyed spending time with our friends and family this weekend. Have a great week friends!
