Throwback Thursday

This Thursday I thought it would be fun to post some throwback Thursday pictures of my bestie and I through the years. It was pretty easy to find pictures to use because I made her a shutterfly photo book of pictures before she moved.  She's lived in Tennessee for about 2 1/2 years now and this weekend we are meeting up for a couple nights so our families can spend time together. I'm so excited! This will be the first time since she and her daughter moved that we've been able to spend more than an hour or two together at a time; and we finally get to meet their sweet baby who was born in October. Yay!!

I can't remember for sure when this was taken either, but I know we were at a place with country line dancing. I am pretty sure none of us knew what we were doing! Ha ha!

Abby, Jacinda and my sister planned a surprise 20th birthday party for me July 2000. We went bowling after dinner at Pizza Hut.  It was so much fun and a nice surprise!

This picture skips ahead a couple years. Jacinda and Abby were friends all through high school and I am so thankful that I met Jacinda through my friendship with Abby. Abby and I drifted apart and I didn't see Jacinda as much for a couple years right around the time she had her daughter; but after college we reconnected and have been the best of friends ever since! This is one of the many times we went out for a girls night. :)

Jacinda is a friend who has always been there for me.  Until I became a Mom I had no idea how much she juggled being a single Mom and still finding time to hang out with the girls when her daughter was young.  She was my designated driver countless times when we were going out a lot after college; she's helped plan parties and showers; she's been one of the first ones to visit each time I had a baby; I could always count on her to be at every one of my kids' birthday parties; she's listened to me vent 1000's of times about the same things; been a shoulder to cry on.  I could go on and on.  We've laughed together and cried together and I am so thankful that despite the distance that separates us now, we are still close after all these years.  I can't wait to spend time with their family this weekend!
