Evening fun at the Park

After I picked up our 7 year old from school this afternoon, we met Christopher to make some house decisions. This turned in to a 4 hour evening with kids in the car with me part of the time, and running through a lumber supply store part of the time. ;) We got a lot of big decisions made though; and I told the kids we could go to the park when we were done because they had been so patient. When I promised the park, I didn't think it would be almost 8 by the time we finished our meeting! Even though it was chilly and nearly dark, we still took them for a little while.

The three crazies waiting in the car with me ;)

This is the same park we went to a couple weeks ago with my friend Brooke and her girls. It was windy again tonight!

Such a big girl on the red slide!

Her hair and the wind do not get along. ;)

I was glad this guy was able to go to the park with us. I feel like he misses out on a lot of the fun things we do while he is in school.  He's making silly faces.

She ♥'s the park!

Two attempted to climb the rock wall.

But only one made it to the top!

It took him a long time to want to try new things and I'm so proud of the confidence and independence he's gaining this school year.

It was chilly, windy and late but I am glad we kept our promise to take them to the park. It is worth it to make memories with the kids and see the smiles on their faces! ♥♥♥
