Thank you Erin for expressing almost perfectly how I felt leaving our house. Our son was only 2 1/2 when we first moved in! We brought both our girls home from the hospital to that house. Our son went to preschool and kindergarten there and our daughter went to preschool there. We went through learning to crawl, talk, walk, potty training, scooter riding, bike riding, two years of tee-ball and a year of coach pitch baseball for our son... It really seems like all 3 kids grew up there. I was truly happy and thankful to sell it after so long on the market, but it has been bittersweet!
I wanted to do a post with milestone or just fun pictures that happened while we lived there. I found I had around 80 pictures that I wanted to post. Rather than do one post with 80 pictures, I will do several posts of a look back on each year. This is more for me than anything else, so I remember and so that one day when I print the blog for the kids they will have it as well.
2009
When we moved in I was very pregnant with our first daughter!
We made a trip to WI and Grandpa and Grandma got our son a tricycle for Easter. He loved it!
She's here!
We were worried about how our son would adjust to having to share Daddy and Mommy's attention, but he sure did love his baby sister!
We didn't have the toy room set up at that point, but our son loved playing on this garage sale find. :)
A favorite picture of mine. It makes me smile.
He loved these Superman pajama's my friend Jacinda got him for his 3rd birthday :)
Another favorite; they look so sweet and innocent.
Merry Christmas 2009
