A Happy Time with a Side of Sadness Part 2

There were some issues with the drywall as we were building the house, but we thought they had all been repaired by the time we moved in. Shortly after we moved in though, we started seeing that the issue had not been taken care of after all. After many phone conversations, face to face conversations and e-mails, our builder agreed to fix the problem. The negative was that it meant we had to move out while they did the repairs. (We are dealing with this as the third trimester of my pregnancy is winding down.) I can't remember exactly when we moved out, but I think it was a week or two before Christmas of 2009.

We ended up making an agreement with our builder that we would build another house with them rather than take this one back, and they would put this house on the market. The basement of the second house we were building filled with mold after heavy rains and lack of proper ventilation and after another mess of discussions, we ended up taking back the first house we built after they did the repairs! What an ordeal! We moved back in around the 4th of July, 2010 and a couple weeks later I became a stay at home Mom. :)

I love this picture of her!

She was probably about 16 or 17 months old here.

Family from Wisconsin came to visit for our son's 4th birthday in October! :)

Momma's little helper at such a young age!

Another of my favorites of the two of them

We put the house on the market in July, 2010 shortly after we moved back in. After all that we had gone through in the building and repair process, we felt like we wanted a change. Little did we know then that it would take 3 years to sell!
