A Happy Time with a Side of Sadness Part 4

After a lot of showings and no offers, we decided we should try to stage our house a little more on the inside and out. My friend Sara helped so much with picking out and helping me place decorative items in the house. It looked so much better and felt more like home that way!

2012

Watching Cars 2. Our son went through a phase where he wanted to watch it at least five times a day! ;)

Watching cartoons together

Playing in their tents they got for Christmas

Sweet sleeping baby

Can she look any more sassy?! She does love to wear my shoes. :)

Our older daughter has learned so much from watching her big brother and learning along with him! I was amazed at how quickly she learned to ride her scooter.

She is trying to teach her baby sister to crawl. :)

We had an unusually warm March this year. These cute sisters were happy to be able to ride in their outside toys!

What a sweet moment!

Yay, it's almost my 1st birthday! :)

This girl was a late walker, but by shortly after her first birthday she was pulling herself up on things.

My chef in training :)

We had the easel in the living room for a while and the older two loved to draw pictures for us!

Our son was a great helper in the closet reorganization of 2012! ;)  He has all blue hangers in his closet.

They had so much fun riding their scooters and bikes on this frontage road. There was rarely any traffic!

This crazy haired girl was still learning to walk!

Mommy's sunglasses

You can't get much cuter than this!

First day of Kindergarten. Our little guy is growing up so fast!

Love my guy!

I sell at (and shop!) a large children's clothing resale that a local church puts on every spring and fall. I was sorting, pricing, and tagging clothes late one night in the basement and this little love decided to help me. She's sleeping on the job! ;)

Proudly displaying some of his kindergarten art projects

Our son has loved Thomas for years! There are times now when he won't play with his trains for a while, and then he will build a track with his Daddy and play for hours. The tracks get pretty elaborate sometimes. I think he might have built this track by himself.

Mommy and her girls

There was a big debate in our house about whether or not we should send our 3 year old to preschool. I felt like it would be great for her. She is so intelligent and I felt like preschool would be exactly what she needed as an outlet for her creative energy! We didn't send my son to preschool for two years, and my husband felt like we didn't need to send her for two years either. By the time I talked him in to sending her, there was a waiting list for the class for her age group. We got lucky and she was able to get in and only missed the first two days of school! She loved being in preschool!! We were both so glad we decided to send her this year.

Our poor baby with her fractured arm!

I don't think the pretty little pony is a two-seater!

It was supposed to be nap time but I don't see much napping going on here!

Our little darling hit her terrible two's a bit early. I would find messes like this all over the house. She does typically try to clean them up once I catch her though. :)

Mommy and her girl before her preschool Christmas program. We were so disappointed that Daddy and her brother had to miss because they were sick. We were glad Grandpa and Grandma were able to make it though!
