Kids Day

My friend Sara and I take our munchkins to kids day at the county fair where we grew up almost every year. We took them again this year, despite the heat. It was almost miserably hot, but the activities were under a pavilion so that made it a little better. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun! Sara and I each have three kids, but she is almost always babysitting or has other kids with her for one reason or another. She had six kids with her for kids day. I don't know how she does it!

Hard at work on foam, license plates?

This is not the best picture of our sweet girl but she was so good even though she was hot!

The kids waited in line for what seemed like forever to get their faces painted. Our son really wanted a train. She didn't do trains. He was fine with a snake on his arm as a second choice. ;)

Getting her butterfly painted. Glitter everywhere!!

It turned out so pretty though!

My beautiful butterfly and slithery snake ;)

After the activities we went through a couple animal barns, grabbed pizza for lunch and my kids and I headed home.  It was a hot but fun day!
