Friday was a really emotional day for me. On top of that, the whining and fighting started as soon as the kids got in the car after school. I am not a fan of those days! The girls and I took a bike ride after dinner to try to cheer us all up. The boys had baseball practice and hung out at BWW with the assistant coach and his boys after so we had a girl's night.
They did a good job riding their bikes but they needed to stop for a minute. So we took pictures. Her belly cracks me up! ;)
Our neighbors/friends were outside on our way home so we stopped at their house for a little while to visit and play.
It was time for pj's and some down time when we got home. The girls were being sweet watching Disney Jr.
The boys got home LATE and our son came home with a cup full of bouncy balls. Ha ha!
This sweet girl has been asking me to make chocolate chip pancakes since we moved in to the new house at the end of February. I finally cleaned up the skillet that had been in the garage and made pancakes on Saturday morning. She was so happy! It really is the little things.
This seems to happen any time our 6 year old has my phone. Crazy girl! ;)
My college aged brother was hired to be a camp counselor for the summer at a camp about three hours away. He was home for just about a week between college and starting his job so my Step-dad and Mom threw a little party for him on Saturday.
We love the weekends my brother has his son! He was so cute playing volleyball.
The kids played a few games of corn hole. It's always entertaining to watch them play.
Cousins!
My Mom and seester. We have differences of opinion on so many things but we love and support each other no matter what. I don't know what I would do without them!
I'm really going to miss this guy over the summer but I am happy for him. I think his job will be a great experience and a great fit for him!
I seem to see a lot of this girl lately. ;) When you're a Mom of 3 boys you have to cook a lot of hot dogs. Ha ha!
I love when my parents have a party and the kids are good about entertaining themselves!
Swing set acrobatics
This might be a first; my Mom asked me to take a picture! (She's not usually a fan of having her picture taken.)
I loved spending a few hours with a couple of my favorite girls!
These two (and our 4 year old) always play so well together.
This guy is king of the mountain! (or rock, whatever) Ha ha!
Big hugs! ;)
I had to make sure I got a picture with my munchkins (plus one)!
Our 6 year old introduced her cousin to the fun that is the Show Your Disney Side app.
Hanging out with Grandma by the fire. The kids were tired and filthy and all fell asleep on the way home. They had so much fun!
My sister asked if we could meet them at our local indoor trampoline park on Sunday to have a little get together for my nephew's birthday. It worked out that we could all go!
I feel like it's been a while since we have been there and the kids loved it! Our 6 year old's face is so funny in this one!
Five of the six cousins
The almost birthday boy had fun playing basketball.
Everyone wanted to try a couple of times.
We spent close to half of our time there in the foam area. The kids all seemed to love it!
They do have a hard time climbing back out though!
It was the first time my niece and nephews had been there. Our kids were happy to show them the different areas where they could bounce.
She is doing a good job waiting in line but she might be a little close. Ha ha!
This girl just melts my heart!
I don't take pictures of the three boys that often. I told my nephew I was going to post his goofy smile. ;)
We got Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day on Redbox on Sunday afternoon. Our 4 year old's tiny puppy watched with us.
Movie snuggles with my mini me.
It was really windy on Memorial Day! We ran a couple of errands in the morning and pulled back in to our subdivision to find this. We could not get through! (And there is only one way to get to our house)
We all walked home and Christopher grabbed his chain saw. Our friends from Tennessee were stopping by and they arrived just in time for Brad to help Christopher clear the tree off the road. He's such a good guy!
It's amazing the kind of love you can have for your best friend's kids. We don't get to see this sweet girl often but we are so happy when we do!
Our girls want to follow her everywhere. She's not sure what to think of them but she warmed up pretty quickly this time.
You know, just four girls in a chair, in the driveway. ;)
Sweet girl!
We went to the diamonds so our son could have some batting practice on Sunday afternoon. He's improving so much as the season progresses! I'm proud of him!
She did more sitting in the grass than fielding but she looked cute doing it!
Our 6 year old read one of her Pinkalicious books to her sister and I before bed. Perfect way to end our 4 day weekend!
