Yay for Friday! It's been a while since I've done Friday Favorites but today I'm linking up with Andrea, Erica, and Narci again and sharing my favorite moments from the week!
{ONE} Memorial Day Weekend
We had a fun Memorial Day Weekend with some of our favorite people! I recapped our weekend here.
{TWO} Babysitting
My favorite neighbor asked me if I could keep her 4 year old and 8 month old for a few hours on Tuesday. I was happy to help! She has kept our 4 year old for me several times so I was glad to return the favor. How sweet is this guy?!
I had almost forgotten how different life is with a baby! We had a few fussy moments but I remembered some of the tricks we used when our son was a tough baby at times and all was well.
These ladies played, ate lunch and watched the Veggie Tales movie Princess and the Pop Star. We don't watch our Veggie Tales movies much anymore but this is a fun girly one!
And when there were songs in the movie, this happened. Dance party!
The cutest!
{THREE} Last Day of School
Wednesday was the last day of school! These sweet kids will be in 1st and 3rd grade next year!
First day of school and last day of school comparison.
Our handsome guy
And our pretty girl
The school year always seems to go so fast!
Our daughter's class had a Kindergarten pizza party and picnic on the last day. We had lunch and then played with the kids on the play ground.
Her teacher made an end of the year slide show full of sweet memories from the school year. I can't watch those without getting teary!
This girl absolutely loved her sweet teacher! I feel like we've been so blessed to have amazing teachers in preschool and in elementary school so far for both our kids. She had a baby at the beginning of May so they have had a substitute for the last few weeks. It was a fun treat that their teacher came (and brought the baby!) on the last day.
I know she is going to do amazing things! It's been a wonderful year for her.
Our little social butterfly has made lots of friends this year.
I loved being able to help in her classroom once a month because I got to know the other kids a little bit better. Love these girls!
We stopped in our son's classroom for a minute to get a picture of him with his amazing teacher. She has been such a blessing to him this year! When I think about who this guy was in preschool and in Kindergarten compared to now, it's amazing how much he has grown. He is more social and gains confidence each year. He has had teachers who have definitely helped him along the way and we couldn't be more thankful!
There has been a lot going on with our family this school year; moves and tough spots along the way but we couldn't have asked for a better school for our kiddos to be at! It is a favorite today and has been all year long!
{FOUR} Reading
On her first official day of summer she finished her strawberry chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast then read to us. :)
I love how she sits and holds the book like her favorite teachers have done when they read to the class.
{FIVE} Baseball
My mom got free tickets through work to our local baseball game for Thursday night. We watch a lot of baseball games around here lately! It must be a favorite! The kids and I actually watched my niece's softball game on Wednesday night too but I didn't take any pictures.
It was a perfect night for baseball! The kids ask to play in the kids area each time we go, but it has been rainy the other times we've been to a game this season so I let them play for a while this time.
Our 6 year old obviously knew I was taking pictures so she was making silly faces. Ha ha!
Wait for me! ;)
Fun in the bounce house!
We grabbed popcorn and water and were walking to our seats when we saw the mascot! I had to get a picture. ;)
Apparently he had been sitting near our seats while we were at the bounce house. I love that my step-dad took a picture with him too.
Selfie with my mini
My little loves and I (And my brother with a hilarious photo bomb in the back) ;)
The kids thought they should get in on the picture of my brother and his fiance and their friends.
And what do you know, my Mom asked me to take another picture! I think she's starting to love photos like I do. Ok that might be a stretch. Why so serious Ken? ;)
Our seats were close to the field and one of the players threw our 6 year old a ball. It made her night.
I was texting Sara earlier in the day and asked her what she was doing that night. She said she was going to the game too! I just can't seem to get away from her lately. Ha ha! I'm totally kidding. Love you girl!
My Mom stopped at guest services on the way in and asked if there were any games the kids could participate in. They said they had spots for musical chairs and the girls were excited to sign up! (Our son said no way) ;)
There were 6 kids and 4 chairs the first round. I was happy both girls got a chair! I love this picture of them.
Our 6 year old made it to the final two! It was so much fun for them to go out on the field. Good memories!
Silly faces with Uncle Robert. Thanks for inviting us to the game Mom. We had a fun night!
Have a great weekend friends. Thanks for stopping by!
