Boxes of Sunshine

Last week I mailed out two "Boxes of Sunshine" to a couple of special friends that I thought could maybe use a little pick me up.  I got the idea from Rachel at Floral and Fudge and used many of the same items she posted here to fill my boxes of sunshine.  Thanks for sharing Rachel!

I was able to find most of the items at Wal-Mart, but I did get the Lemon Heads and the Ring Pops at the Dollar Tree.

I included the following: 

1. 24 ct box of Crayola Crayons 

2. 2 yellow highlighters 

3. Yellow Post-it's 

4. Ring Pops  (package of 4)

5. Yellow Play-Doh 

6. Welch's Tangy Fruits flavored fruit snacks 

7. Sour Patch Kids 

8. Lemon Berry Sorbet Chap Stick 

9. Juicy Fruit gum 

10. Lemon Heads 

After I mailed out the boxes I thought of a few other things I could have added:

- Yellow loofah
- Meyer Lemon or Sugar Lemon Fizz hand sanitizer from Bath and Body
- Kitchen Lemon hand soap from Bath and Body

I also threw in a few yellow balloons and found yellow crinkle paper at Dollar Tree to use for filler in the boxes like Rachel did in hers. I hope these little boxes of sunshine put a smile on my friend's faces!  It made my heart happy to mail them out! :)
