Memorial Weekend

We had a busy Sunday spending time with family and friends. The kids and I started the day with church and lunch with my Step-dad, Mom, brothers and nephew. Then we met my friend Jacinda and her family who are here visiting for the weekend from Tennessee for ice cream and went to my grandparents farm for a few hours to talk, let the kids play, and grill out.

I attempted a picture of my three loves dressed in red, white and blue after church. This one wasn't too bad. ♥♥♥

This one would have been cute if our son was looking at the camera!

This sweet baby has no shortage of attention when our kids are around! They all had to sit as close to her as possible. ;)

Our 3 year old was so sweet with her.

Even though Brad and Jacinda's kids are quite a bit older than ours, they all play really well together when we see them.

Oh how I love this baby girl!

Brad and Jacinda's son is apparently a skilled tree climber. ;) I was impressed how easily he climbed up this tree!

This group was playing hide and go seek tag (I am pretty sure they made that game up) in my grandparent's yard.

I love love love this picture of our 5 year old holding Brad and Jacinda's baby! ♥

Our 3 year old wanted to hold her too of course.

My sister and her family came a little later and the boys were playing basketball on this little portable net. Happy 11th birthday to my nephew!!

These four were all playing the DS. I love how dirty my nephew's knees are. ;)

Our son was sure he knew how to cheer up the baby when she would fuss. He told Brad that if she starts fussing at home to just play peek a boo with her. :)

My Dad took 5 of the 6 grandkids for a ride on my Grandpa Bob's Mule. Too bad the sun was in their eyes!

Ready to ride!

My cousin on my Mom's side of the family was having a bonfire tonight and the girls and I decided to go for a couple hours. Any time there is a swing set, my kids are happy!

Miss Independent

This girl might drive me completely crazy at times with her stubbornness and independence but I love her more than words can say!  We had the best day with family and friends who are like family. ♥
