Five!

Sweet girl you are 5 today! I can't believe it. What a wonderful Mother's Day gift to be celebrating one of the three most precious gifts in my life.

I love this age! I feel like you've mostly outgrown the more naughty stage and have become very helpful to me and a great big sister and role model for your little sister. 20. What do you want to be when you grow up: A hair cutter, a teacher and a Mommy

You are so sweet but definitely have a sassy side. Your hair is still fabulously curly and people often comment on how pretty it is.

You are one of the smartest kids I know! You have an amazing memory for details.

You have loved every minute of preschool because you love to learn. I know you will be excited to start kindergarten in the fall, although I am already dreading it a little because I will miss having my girl home with me!

You can often be found drawing and/or coloring pictures for your friends and for our extended family. I love seeing your creativity.

You are 100% a Momma's girl! When I look at you, I see a mini version of myself. Both the good and the bad. ;)

You have an outgoing personality. You're a great friend and you absolutely love to have play dates and spend time with your sweet friends. I love that about you. :)

You learned how to write your name before you turned 4 and this school year have learned how to write your last name too. You know how to spell the names of everyone in our family and several of your closest friends.  You can count to 100!

Most days you still take a short nap. You don't ever want to lay down for a nap, but you will often fall asleep in the car running errands or picking your brother up from school. If you don't have a nap you tend to get super whiny and cranky!

You love all things Lalaloopsy right now! You also like to play with your Dora, Sofia the First, Disney princesses and Doc McStuffins toys and to play school with your brother and sister.

You love to be outside; playing at the park, drawing with sidewalk chalk or riding your bike or scooter.

You ask me to read at least 5 books every night from your collection of Fancy Nancy, Pinkalicious and Disney Princess books.

You have a heart for Jesus. You love going to church and often remind me to read my Bible. You also keep me on my toes asking me questions that I don't always know the answers to! You love the songs Jesus Messiah by Chris Tomlin and Overcomer by Mandisa.

No day with you is ever boring. You're always saying or doing something to make me laugh.  I love the relationship you have with your brother and with your little sister.  You are a great friend to your older brother and you can be so sweet with your little sister.  Sometimes I will hear you calling her "honey" or "sweetie" and it melts my heart.  That's not to say there aren't plenty of times when you're fighting with your siblings too; but I think almost all siblings have those moments!

Sweet girl you are just the joy of my life.  You love music and you love to draw.  You LOVE to watch movies.  You have SO much personality.

I hope you know how proud of you I am.   I thank God for choosing me to be your Mom.  I will always be your biggest fan.  I love you honey!

Love, Mom
