On Monday our 4 year old had a preschool field trip to a pumpkin farm. Our son went on the same field trip two years ago when he was in 4 day preschool. You're allowed to take siblings, but my sister was so nice to volunteer to keep our 2 year old. I was glad she did because it was a pretty chilly morning, and I got to have one on one time with our preschooler this way!
Our poor girl's cheeks get bright red any time she is cold. She was pretty cold on the wagon ride, but she wanted me to take a picture of her hat. Ha ha!
They also have an animal barn that the kids walk through. At least it was a little bit warmer in there!
I love this girl! She is so social and it is fun to watch her with the kids in her class. The kids sat on straw bales to listen to a presentation at the beginning of the trip, and as the kids came walking out to the parents she and another little girl in her class were holding hands. I thought that was so sweet. :)
Having a snack with the sweet girl she was holding hands with earlier :)
They also had a straw maze inside a building that the kids were able to play in. She didn't want to leave her jacket zipped so her Hello Kitty Halloween shirt would show. ;)
It felt like the field trip was a little shorter this year. I think because it was chilly and it had rained quite a bit over the weekend so a lot of the areas were muddy. It is still a fun field trip, and at the end the kids and the parents got to pick out a pumpkin and a gourd. It was a good morning with my sweet girl!!
