Fall Zoo Day

Our 4 year old doesn't have preschool on Friday's so I thought it would be fun to take the girls to the zoo one last time before it closes for the season. It was a beautiful morning. The zoo was FULL of pumpkins and gourds. It was fun to check out all the fall decorations.

Our 4 year old was posing for pictures all morning. :) Look at all those pumpkins!

Our 2 year old wasn't posing quite as nicely. She wasn't thrilled to be in the stroller, but sometimes it is just easier to push her than to have her walk.

I invited Sarah and her preschooler to join us at the zoo. The preschoolers see each other 4 days a week in school, but you would have thought they hadn't seen each other in months. ;) They were excited to spend the morning at the zoo!

I love this picture of her, but I feel like she looks so grown up! Is she 4 or 14?!

Learning about the lions

Sarah's son was so excited to see the lion! We were glad he was close to the glass and the kids were able to watch him for a little while.

These two cuties are such good friends for being a 4 year old (almost 5) boy, and a 4 year old girl! Our daughter has said a couple of times that she is going to marry him. ;) Sarah and I joke that we have pictures we can use in their wedding video one day.

Can't have a trip to the zoo without doing the drums!

Ha ha!

I did let this funny girl walk after she somehow slipped out of her buckles in the stroller! She does a pretty good job staying with us, but she doesn't pay any attention to where she is going! She loves the choo choo and I love this cheese face.

Another cheese face. You have to love this girl!

Thanks for sending me this picture Sarah, and thanks for joining us for a fun morning at the zoo!
