These two look so cute and sweet. Let's keep it real though, not five minutes before I snapped these pictures they were in our master bathroom and had locked the door. That can only mean trouble. When I got them to unlock it (we don't have a key in the rental- excellent!), I found them both completely nude! They thought it was hilarious. They said they wanted to take a bath. Needless to say, since they had both been dressed and ready to take our 4 year old to preschool before they went in the bathroom, Mommy was not as amused! I can laugh about it now, but at the time I was not happy! Ah, the joys of parenting!
But here they are, redressed and cute as can be... "Witching" you a Happy Halloween!
The church my Mom and Step-dad attend was having candy for trick or treaters as well as a church across the street. I decided even if it was too wet to go door to door, we would go to their churches and do a little trick or treating on Halloween. My Mom and Step-dad had gone to a Halloween party the weekend before so they had costumes this year. They were jailbirds. Too funny!
My Step-dad had to work on Halloween, but this is the two of them at the Halloween party last Saturday. :)
Grandma and our three munchkins
Our youngest daughter is 2 1/2 and this is the first year she really got in to trick or treating. She was still pretty shy about it, but she loved carrying around her bucket and getting treats. It was so cute!
Our older daughter wore this butterfly costume Halloween 2010 when she was about 18 months old. Brings back memories! I feel like the girls look a lot alike. I did a post about Halloween 2010 here. It makes me miss my Jacinda Joy in Tennessee. So much has changed in three years, especially for her! All for the good, except of course that she and her daughter moved 8 hours away. They have a wonderful family though and so much love and joy in their lives! They welcomed their sweet baby girl on October 22. I can't wait to meet her!!
My brother who is a Senior this year was helping my Mom pass out candy with another boy from church. He is always so good about helping my Step-dad and my Mom with whatever they need. The two boys had passing out candy under control, so my Mom went door to door with us around the block. This is the first time I think she has been able to trick or treat with my kids so it was really fun for them (and for her)!
(I'm sure she will be thrilled that I put this picture on my blog. I will know she doesn't read it if I don't hear about it! ;))
Grandpa Larry and Grandma Jane sent some Halloween money for the kids and we made some fun Halloween themed purchases with it. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma!!
