Fall Party

Our first grader had his fall party the day before fall break. I was able to go to the party because my step-dad was so nice to watch the girls for me. I really appreciate him being willing to help out whenever he can. He drives my uncle to physical therapy at times and he had our girls with him at my uncle's therapy the last two Thursdays. They are usually pretty good for Grandpa, but they can still be a handful!

Eating their Halloween snack. One of the other Moms made the cutest pumpkins with mandarin oranges and celery and ghosts with bananas in addition to a trail mix. (I should have taken a picture!) I provided the junior sized bottled waters, plates and napkins. :)

We divided the kids in to three groups to do stations, and the game station was pin the nose on the pumpkin and a pumpkin relay. :) The kids loved the games.

So close!

The boys kept winning in the pumpkin relay.  He is wearing the same Halloween shirt that he wore for his fall party last year. ;)

The third station was a foam bookmark for the craft.

It was great to be able to attend the fall party. I love seeing our son in the classroom setting and how he interacts with the other kids in his class. Halloween will be here soon!
