Weekend Wrap Up

It sounds so cliche but I can't believe it's Monday already! I hope your day is off to a good start!

On Friday morning the girls were telling some sort of story together, apparently involving lots of their dolls and stuffed animals.

After lunch we visited with the neighbors. I thought these four friends looked so sweet!

Our guy was finally able to play their first tournament game on Friday night! (It was rained out Monday, Wednesday and Thursday!). The girls entertained themselves with sticker books under the bleachers. ;)

Our guy in the outfield and Coach (Daddy). It was 2 to 2 in the 6th and they couldn't end it in a tie because it was a tournament game. It ended up going to 9 innings!!

My guy at bat. The game was a nail biter and they ended up losing 5 to 3. So sad for them!

Friday night I had girl's night with Sarah, her friend Concepcion, and Sara to celebrate my new job! :)

I think we needed flash for our selfie ;)

Sarah and I. We don't take enough pictures together. Love this one!

Sara and I and a bird. Ha ha!

Saturday morning our guy had another baseball game. His sister was busy taking selfies during the game. Ha ha! We were so happy they won 9 to 0!

After the game we had lunch with the family at my Dad's to celebrate an early Father's Day with my Dad and Grandpa Bob.

Sweet cousins!

Our son was ready to go so he could get showered and changed out of his baseball uniform. I tried to distract him by telling him to go take some pictures of the other kids playing. Instead he took a picture of my brother's dog. ;)

He did take some of his sisters and cousins too. It looks like my girls think their cousin is about to do something naughty! Ha ha!

We had already eaten dinner when Sara texted and asked if we wanted to meet her Saturday night. I decided to let the kids share a monster cookie as dessert. Yum!

Everyone takes selfies at dinner, right?

Can't take a picture with one of the girls and not the other!

After dinner we went to my Step-dad and Mom's and my brother lit off a few fireworks. The girls weren't sure what to think of the sparklers.

Our 4 year old used to be so scared of fireworks. She seems to like them now.

Trying a sparkler

I had a hard time getting good pictures of them with their sparklers!

Sunday morning after church :)

He had his 3rd game of the tournament at 3:00. Thanks Mom, Robert, Stacey, Greg and the kids for coming to cheer him on! They lost 8 to 6 which ended their season. I am pretty sad to see the season come to an end! It was a great season with a great group of boys!!

The girls playing during the game

The girls started Vacation Bible School on Sunday night. My friend/neighbor Beth forwarded me this sweet picture of our 4 year old's.

They both had the best time! This girl was so excited about her sheep.

It was fun for them to do VBS with some of their friends. Love these little ladies! Sometimes I can't help but get emotional about how God has put some really wonderful people in our lives. We are truly blessed.

What better way to end a weekend full of baseball than with The Sandlot before bed! The girls made it all the way through the movie. Fingers crossed they don't have nightmares about The Beast. ;)

I love this! Happy Father's Day to all the men in my kiddos lives!

Have a great week!
