We started the field trip with Sarah and her son and Robin and her daughter and son. I tried to get a picture of them looking for the monkeys. This was what I managed to get. ;)
These girls are inseparable!
Smiles on these pretty faces even though it is cold and windy.
Checking out the lions. Always a favorite zoo spot!
Robin sent me lots of great pictures that she took today including this one of the girls. I love that she takes a lot of pictures like I do. :)
I love this one of Sarah's son and two of the other boys in their class. I was bummed we got separated from Sarah shortly after this but I can't blame him for wanting to hang out with the boys. I'm sure we will have some zoo trips this summer with Sarah and her boys. :)
The cheetah captured the attention of lots of the kids.
We tried to get a picture of the four of them looking at the zebras, but an ostrich was coming close to the fence and had the attention of the older two girls. I should have tightened our daughter's jeans a little more. They kept falling off her little behind all day!
I had to post this one. Tried to get a cute sister picture. Fail! ;)
Robin got a cute one of these two though!
I kept laughing because all of the kids would stop at the typical "photo ops" throughout the zoo without us asking them to. You could tell their Mom's have zoo memberships and like to take pictures. ;)
They almost fell head first out of this hammock so many times! We were lucky to walk away with no injuries. ;)
Not at all a fan of my kids wearing hats that hundreds of other kids have had on their heads, but she sure looks cute!
Love this one of the four of them. ♥
So cute of these sweet friends!
Probably my favorite of the day. ♥♥
The tigers were active today. They were sitting perfectly posed like this and then came right up to the glass. I think these three crazy kids were making their tiger faces. So funny!
I think we have two happy faces and two tiger faces in this one. ;)
This sweet girl asked me to take a picture of her. ;) I was out of storage on my phone (happens all the time!) so Robin took this one.
They climbed right on the dragon for a picture, but my sweet 3 year old was not a fan!
The girls wanted their picture taken with Mr Orangutan.
The sea lions were putting on a great show for us today! Unfortunately you can't tell that from my picture. ;)
We met back up with a few of the boys from their class by the sea lions!
The three year old wouldn't sit on the turtle but she was okay standing beside it.
Their class had a short presentation on farm animals and they were able to pet a rooster at the end. It was nice to be sitting inside for a while!
We don't normally go in and pet the goats, but we did today. I was a little bit surprised that both of our girls wanted to pet and brush them. This was the best picture I got.
Checking out the peacocks outside the barn.
As we were getting ready to leave, we saw our daughter's sweet little friend who was also on a field trip with her class. I love how the girls always greet each other with a big squeeze!
She asked me to take her picture by herself. ;) Despite the cold, we had a fun morning at the zoo! I'm looking forward to many more zoo trips this summer when it is nice and warm. :)
I saw this on Proverbs 31 Ministries facebook page today. So true! ♥
