Blizzard of 2014

We are under a winter storm warning and I would guess we will be for another day or two. We aren't quite at blizzard status, but we seriously have a lot of snow!! And today the temperatures are not supposed to climb much above 0 (and at least -30 or below with the wind chill). Brr! We will be staying inside for sure! Maybe today would be a good day to take down our Christmas tree and decorations. ;) It was in the 30's yesterday so we took advantage and played outside in the snow for a while for the first time this winter.

Our 2 year old liked the snow last year but this time she was not a fan. I think it was because it was snowing while we were outside and she didn't like it in her face.

The girls were ready to be pulled by Daddy!

All 3 kids wouldn't fit on the sled at once so our son ran behind. This picture makes me smile.

Mom and her three snow-covered loves

Dad and the older two. Our 2 year old was ready to go in the house by this point and was done with picture taking.

Take me inside! ;)

I don't normally take pictures of nature, but all the bushes and trees looked beautiful today!

So pretty!

We made a quick run to grab lunch just to get out before the roads got really bad (had to have my Large Coke, yes it is an addiction!). The roads looked like a picture you would see on a calendar.

One more picture of the trees :)

Our 2 year old got two baby doll strollers for Christmas and we had one already, although I thought it was broken. I don't mind having multiples because they fold up nice and small and obviously our daughter loves them! She just needs a few more hands to push all her babies!

Nap time! Our sweet girls in their snowman pj's we got them for Christmas (fitting for the weather) with their beloved pillow pets (or "pu pu" as our 2 year old calls hers) and their very life like babies. Unfortunately the baby dolls were the only ones who did any napping. ;)

In addition to watching a lot of Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 (our kids love the mini movies too!), our 4 year old decided to put together her Pinkalicious puzzle. I helped her a little but I think she could have done it on her own. Our 2 year old wanted to help too. ;)

We are planning on staying inside all day today! The older kids' Christmas break is extended by a day and I would think they will probably be closed tomorrow too. We plan on lots of movie watching, UNO and Yahtzee Jr playing and hanging out in our pj's today. Stay warm friends!!
