Day 8: Wednesday we were still basically snowed in. The roads were a little better but not great. I was able to run to the post office and the bank and pick up a pizza for lunch because my husband was home, but other than that we stayed home in our matching pink sweatshirts and yoga pants. ;) Our 4 year old loves that I bought them yoga pants and pink sweatshirts "just like Mom".
Day 9: Thursday was Day 4 of no school for the kids! The main roads were pretty good so I felt like it was safe for all of us to venture out. We were happy to spend a few hours with Sarah and her boys at their house.
Day 10: Friday was Day 5 of no school! The main roads were fine though so I ran a few errands with the kids. One of our stops, Target. Funny that last Friday's amyeveryday2014 picture was also at Target. ;)
Day 11: I got to spend a few hours with Adrienne celebrating Christmas and her birthday (a little early). We had yummy wine slushies and snacked on a plate of meat, cheese and crackers at the winery and then did a gift exchange at her house. So nice to catch up, love my Ade! My husband had to work 7-7 all weekend but my Step-dad and Mom kept the kiddos for me. :)
Day 12: I tend to say we don't have a "home church" but the kids and I attend the same church as my Step-dad and Mom most Sundays. It is a small church but it is a very comfortable place to worship. Our girls love going to the nursery. (Our son typically stays in big church with me.) I love seeing how Dee's face lights up every time I bring them in. She loves our girls and it shows. The girls also really love the Sundays that Grandpa helps in the nursery!
A Day 12 "Bonus Picture". My sister surprised us and she and the kids came to church. We decided to all have lunch after. We are missing several people but it was really nice for the 9 of us to have lunch together. Our server didn't get our son completely in the picture, but it was sweet of her to take it for us!
Day 13: Back to School day for the older two so I had a few hours of one on one time with this silly girl. Her face cracks me up!
Day 14: First winter session basketball game for this handsome guy. I love watching him play. He was pretty proud of himself for making a basket during the game. His Mom was proud of him too!
An inspirational quote for the week:
"Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day."
