Day 1: These three crazy kids were still up at Grandpa and Grandma's house when we got there after date night at a hockey game. I could not believe they all watched the ball drop with us. This photo was taken at about 12:05 AM. ;)
Day 2: Playing Princess Memory with two of my faves (Our son is such a good sport playing games with us even though they are Princess themed)
Day 3: I knew that we were supposed to get a big winter storm Saturday night/Sunday morning and on Monday and Tuesday we would be dealing with frigid temps so I ran errands with all 3 kids. We went to the bank, grabbed McD's for lunch with gift cards from Christmas, and to 4 stores! It was a long day but I was happy to have accomplished so much.
Day 4: Our last Christmas celebration of the season with my family.
Day 5: Church was canceled because of the weather so we took advantage of the 30 degree temp and played outside for a while on this snowy day!
Day 6: Christmas Break was extended by a day because of the weather so we stayed in our pajama's and played inside all day. I also stayed busy working on laundry and (finally) taking down our Christmas decorations. Our son made this Christmas plate for us at school and it may be my new favorite Christmas decoration. It says, "Merry Christmas", "I love you", "Santa is Awesome" and "Let it Snow" :)
Day 7: The kids didn't have school a 2nd day because of the weather. It was still frigid outside so we stayed home. Pajama's, games, and movies on the agenda again today. The older two asked to play Trouble while our 2 year old napped. It is a family favorite. :)
An inspirational quote for the week:
"The little things in life create the biggest smiles. Be happy! Not because everything is good, but because you can see the good side of everything. You can be as happy as you allow yourself to be. Happiness is not by chance, but by choice."
