Sum It Up Sunday

We had my favorite kind of weekend; one full of family and friends! It started on Thursday evening with a single A baseball game. The 5 of us met Ken, my Mom, both my brothers and one of Travis's friends at the game. Thanks for getting us tickets Mom!

It started out a little slow but we kept the kids occupied with snacks. We also had a handful of free kids area activity coupons and free drink coupons that a guy was passing out by the front gate.

I saw the slide when I was getting drinks and knew our kids would love it! Our 3 year old has no fear! She didn't even hesitate on the slide.

We had so many coupons that they were able to go down the slide a lot! They loved it.

It's hard to get a good picture with your camera phone when they are in motion, but I love this one! :)

This one is fun too!

I thought I would try to get a picture of these five and Travis makes this face! Teenagers! Ha ha!

The older two with Grandma and Grandpa. Can anyone take a nice picture around here? ;)

This little lady is a Daddy's girl!! She loves her Mommy too, but when Daddy is around she prefers him a lot of times. That might hurt my feelings if I didn't secretly enjoy the break that it gives me. #truth

Dippin' Dots? Yes, please!

My sweet soon-to-be kindergartner and I. Love! ♥♥

On Friday we met Sarah and the boys for a park play date and had ice cream after. I love this shot of the girls! :)

Everyone loves the tire swing! We had a nice time visiting with Sarah and the boys. It's always great to see them!

Sometime during the frigid winter we had this past year, both sets of my keys ended up looking like this! I had to put these three pieces together to start the Pilot. It might not seem like a major thing, but it is definitely something you take for granted.  I had to keep the tiny metal key in my pocket, lock and unlock the doors manually. Once after church when I took the key out of my purse it went flying and landed in a huge snow bank. I thought we would never find it!

We met Christopher at the Honda dealer on Friday afternoon and got it fixed! We should have done it months ago but it kept getting pushed to the bottom of the to do list. I'm so happy to have my keyless entry back!

We stopped at the new house on Friday evening. It looks a lot different as they make progress with the drywall!

We stopped for ice cream after we left the new house. We don't get ice cream very often, but somehow the kids ended up getting it twice on Friday!

Ken and my Mom had an end of summer/ college send off party on Saturday evening. There were three sets of corn hole boards and the kids were pretty happy they got to play on one.

I'm pretty sure the boys beat the girls but they all had fun playing.

There were plenty of people to play volleyball! Adrienne and I played for a minute but realized our volleyball expertise were not needed so we let our husbands play without us. ;)  My sister couldn't get the night off work.  We really missed her and the kids!  And even her smack talk.  Ha ha!

The kids did a pretty good job entertaining themselves. By this time our girls were getting tired though!

She's my favorite little hot mess!

My brother Travis started the fire. Uhm! I don't think anyone will be roasting marshmallows on this one!

My sweet guy intently watching the fire (from a safe distance!)

I didn't get any pictures of Travis and his friends together at his graduation party so I made sure I got a picture this time!  I don't know if an 18 year old guy cares about having pictures with his friends, but I think he will be glad to have this when he's at college.

I feel so bad; this sweet girl really wanted to play corn hole and I never played with her! She didn't seem to care once the fireworks came out. ;)

Cousins! Travis and Hayley. :)

One of the ways kids entertain themselves. Ha ha!

I love this girl! We hadn't seen each other since the last day of school at the beginning of June. Summer went too fast! I was so glad she and her husband were able to make it to the party.

Adrienne and our girls. They love their Ade!

Travis and these two pretty sisters! I love the expressions on Travis and his friend's faces here. :)

Travis and the older of the sisters are good friends. I think this is another picture he will be glad to have.

Joe and Adrienne

We took the kids to Toys R Us this afternoon and let them pick out one toy as a "back to school" gift. This funny girl wanted me to take her picture on the way out. ;)

We stopped at the new house again after dinner and the kids always want to check for deer in the back yard.  Love it! ♥♥

Have a good week friends!
