Friday Favorites | Christmas Edition

Momfessionals

Happy Friday!  Today I'm linking up with  Andrea, Erica, and Narci again and sharing my favorite Christmas related things from the week!

1. Favorite Christmas Snack

Thursday night the girls and I made one of our favorite Christmas snacks for our son's 2nd grade and our daughter's kindergarten teachers. We've been making pretzel hugs for a few years now and they are always a hit!

We had to squeeze the hug making in to the two hours our son was at a birthday party so our 5 year old could help me. She was upset when I told her I might have to make them by myself. I love that she loves to help me so much.

The girls arranged the pretzels on the cookie sheets and the Hugs on the pretzels.

This was the first year our 3 year old was able to really help on her own and she did a great job!

2. Favorite Friends

Our son had a birthday party for one of his favorite friends in his 2nd grade class on Thursday night. They were in the arcade when we got there to pick him up. He loves the racing games!

His little sisters wanted to play too of course, but they had to settle for pretending. ;)

  3. Favorite Christmas Movies

We've had a few fun Christmas movies on repeat around here! The kids were just introduced to Home Alone this season and they love it. :)

We borrowed Home Alone 2: Lost in New York from my brother and the kids love it as much as the first one!

You can never go wrong with Polar Express!  Our kindergartner had Polar Express day on Thursday and our son has Polar Express day and gets to wear a favorite pair of holiday pajama's.  It should be a fun day for him!

Our kids love this silly monkey and Curious George's, A Very Monkey Christmas did not disappoint. It was a great buy for less than $5 at Wal-Mart.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a classic. I haven't watched it yet this season. I need to do that soon!

4. Favorite Elf

I know some people hate to see posts about the antics of their friends' elves but I love to see what other people's elves are up to. It's a great way to get ideas! On Day #8 of Scootie's visit this year he was reading Christmas books.

On Day #9 he built a toilet paper snowman. The kids loved this one.

He took a marshmallow bath in a fun Christmas mug on Day #10.

On Day #11 he had a little potty humor. I got this idea from Andrea and the kids thought it was pretty funny.   It is a little hard to see with the shadows but there are mini chocolate chips in the jar. ;)

He was just hanging out in our son's stocking on Day #12.

On Day #13 he got a little more creative and was zip lining on a strand of Christmas lights.

On Day #14 he was roasting marshmallows. This was a personal favorite. :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend.
