On Christmas Eve we attended a candle light service with Ken, my Mom and my two brothers at the church we grew up attending. We typically go to their Christmas Eve service the years we aren't in Wisconsin. It always puts me in the right frame of mind to celebrate Christmas the next day.
Oh how I love this little lady!
After the Christmas Eve service the kids got in their Christmas pj's and helped decorate cookies at Grandpa and Grandma's.
This guy even got in on the cookie frosting!
Our 3 year old (Miss Independent!) didn't want any help frosting her cookies. She did a pretty good job for a first timer. ;)
The cookie decorators! I was in charge of the sprinkles.
I love these three cuties in their holiday pj's!
Bunny ears are sooo funny! ;)
They got special permission to give Scootie the elf a quick hug on Christmas Eve because he was flying back to the North Pole that night and wouldn't return until next December.
They really love that little elf!
Our 5 year old drew a picture of Scootie to give to him on his last night with us for the year.
Santa and I did a great job wrapping presents. ;) I loved the Disney paper I found; Frozen for the girls and Planes for our son.
He came!
The girls got an Elsa and an Anna necklace in their stockings. They are so pretty; the girls and the necklaces! ;)
They got these cute and cozy blankets from Grandpa Larry and Grandma Jane in Wisconsin.
She was so excited to get this Frozen gift set!
I have the hardest time knowing what to buy for this guy! Planes or cars from Cars 1 and Cars 2 are always safe bets though. He does a lot of imaginative play with his collections of both.
He was so excited to open this one too! Sometimes it's the little things that bring the most excitement.
The girls both have a collection of the mini Lalaloopsy dolls and she got a tin to store hers in. :)
I hope your holiday was spent making memories with family and friends! We are spending the next few days in Wisconsin celebrating with our family there. Have a great weekend!
