After we dropped off the older two at school on Friday this pretty girl and I had to run a few errands. We stopped at the library to return books and she wanted to go in and find a few more.
She loves to play in their children's area.
She worked on a few puzzles.
I loved her hair in the pig tails. Momma can't ever seem to get them even though! I love the bow on the back of this dress too.
She spied another little girl near the stack of books we were checking out and she was obviously making sure she wasn't going to try to take them. Ha ha!
After the library we played at home for a couple of hours and she asked me to take a picture of her Lalaloopsy in the stroller. So I did, of course! ;)
Our son suggested that we celebrate him being healthy again after school on Friday. We made a stop for frozen yogurt and all the kids were happy!
Friday night I went to dinner with my Mom, sister, and some extended family. I haven't seen my high school friend Sara much in the last several months so I invited her to join us. When you've been friends nearly 20 years, you're like family!
My sister, Mom and I. My sister is a nut! ;)
After all the other ladies left the three of us went to the bar at the restaurant for another drink. It was so nice to have a couple hours out with them. We laughed and laughed. I love these two!
Saturday morning our 5 year old woke up with a cough. I ran to get donuts and got her a kids hot chocolate from Starbucks. It might not actually help, but I always feel like a hot drink helps when I have a cough or a sore throat. I had to get myself a hot apple spice while I was there!
Our kindergartner was invited to bring a friend to dance class on Saturday morning. The class was only 45 minutes and they had a waiting area for family. Our 3 year old did a great job entertaining herself while we waited!
Our kindergartner with her friend's little sister on her left and her friend on the right.
I think they were playing a song from Frozen here.
She went down this slide over and over. Her hair was standing straight up from the static and was so funny! I don't think she found it as funny as I did. ;)
The rest of Saturday was a little rough with the girls. They were fighting, arguing, whining and just not listening! The two of them did play really well together for a couple hours though. Our 5 year old is on the "phone" with a friend scheduling a play date for her little sister here. Ha ha!
Our son was late getting his teeth as a baby and has been really late to lose teeth! He did have the bottom two middle teeth pulled by the dentist earlier this year because his adult teeth were coming in and his baby teeth were not loose at all. Other than those two teeth, he had not lost any! His top two front teeth have been loose for what feels like forever! I really feel like it's been at least two months but I'm not sure. I've been wiggling them and gently trying to pull them almost every night and Saturday night I was able to pull one out! I'm pretty sure it's the first tooth I've pulled in my 34 years. ;) I actually think it is really gross but they look so funny that I want to get them out! He looks like a jack o lantern now. I tried several times on Sunday to get that other tooth out but no luck yet!
We went to breakfast on Sunday morning and our 5 year old was excited to order the reindeer pancakes. :)
Later in the day we went to the new house to check out the progress. It is really looking like a house now! Our 5 year old said it looks amazing and our 8 year old said it looks extraordinary! ;)
Snow started falling and it looked so pretty! The girls were watching out the window.
She has been the most excited about the snow this season!
We got some accumulation on Sunday night.
I thought we were done with the BRAT diet but I'm afraid our 3 year old might have caught the stomach bug her brother had last week. I'm hopeful maybe she just had an upset stomach on Sunday afternoon! We will see what the week brings. :/
Our son always stays up a little later than his sisters and he loves warm laundry right out of the dryer! He didn't waste any time jumping in the load of towels I was going to fold. ;)
Have a great week! We will be trying to stay warm and healthy at our house!
