I thought her tangled mess of hair was so funny on Friday morning! She was standing in front of a fan which added to the crazy of course. Our girls have such pretty hair, but it takes tangle spray and their Wet Brush to make it that way!
I had an appointment for a color and cut on Friday morning. #maintenance ;)
Our 3 year old hung out with Grandpa Ken while I was at my hair appointment. They went to Walmart.
And to the park. She always has fun hanging out with Grandpa!
Friday after school our son went to the batting cages with Christopher while the girls and I met my friend Robin and her kiddos at the park. Our kindergartner was so excited to see her bff! It had been over a month since we've seen them!
Our 3 year old was excited to see Robin's son too! She loves playing with him. :)
Yay, slides!
Love that I captured this sweet moment. ♥
And this one! ♥ It's always so nice to see Robin and the kids. I didn't get a picture of her sweet baby boy but he was smiley and happy as always.
Saturday morning these pretty ladies were ready to watch their brother's 3rd fall baseball game. We were so thankful it was warmer this week!
Waiting for his turn to bat. He looks nervous. He did much better this game than last week! He played second base one inning and did a great job fielding the ball!
Post game talk with Coach
Go Cubs!!
I got to chat with Sarah for a minute as we waited in line for the concession stand after the game. She was in between her younger son's tee-ball game and her older son's kid pitch game. We never take pictures together so I asked my brother's friend to take one of us. #friendsforlife
My brother Robert had borrowed a 4-wheeler, drag, and trailer to help us with the lot at the new house after the game. Thanks again for getting that all together Robert!
My brother Travis's college is only about 20 minutes from our new house. He had a little free time so he came to see the new house and help out for a while too. It was so good to see him and hear how college is going!
The girls helped pick up sticks for a while.
I had Travis take a picture of this so we had proof I was doing manual labor. I will be the first to admit I'm not really a manual labor kind of girl. ;)
My Mom, Travis, the girls and I would fill the wheelbarrow and take it to the pile at the front of the house. Or a lot of times my Mom would have piles ready for us and we would throw them in the wheelbarrow!
Our son was busy moving stone. I'm actually not sure what he was doing but he stayed busy.
I made my Mom take the girls up to the house so she would take a little break. We wouldn't have accomplished nearly as much if my Mom hadn't been there. She works so hard! Thanks so much for your help Mom. We love you!
Our pile from the day.
We all went to dinner and we were exhausted when we got home. The kids decided to give me a little makeover. ;)
We let the girls have a camp out on the living room floor.
Sunday we hung out at home in our pj's most the day. I was getting caught up on laundry and housework but took a break for a game of War with the kids. Our 3 year old and I got out pretty quickly but the other two took what seemed like forever to finish the game. Our son was the winner!
I noticed how long our 3 year old's pony tail is getting! So cute. :) She was entertaining herself playing with their Minnie Mouse toys.
Everyone was in bed pretty early Sunday night so I had one of my favorite snacks, edited photos and watched the season premiere of the Good Wife. Perfect Sunday night!
Yes, they sure are!
Have a great week!
