Sum It Up Sunday

I'm taking the time this weekend to do a Sum it Up Sunday post! I have a million things to do around the house, but blogging is more fun. ;)

Friday started off with a sweet picture from my kindergartner before school. I love her drawings!  She thought it was funny that she wrote Amy instead of Mom.  #twinning

My friend Sarah and I walked on Friday morning and it was chilly! It felt like a good morning for Starbucks after our walk. I tried the Caramel Apple Spice and it might be my new favorite Starbucks drink. So good!

Our 3 year old helped me make pasta salad before we picked up the older two from school. I love Andrea at Momfessionals easy and delicious recipe!

Our kindergartner brought home her school pictures on Friday. She melts my heart! For some reason our son didn't bring his home on Friday.

Friday night I preshopped the resale with two of my high school friends, Kelsey and Angie.

Volunteers who work a 4 1/2 to 5 hour shift during the week to help prepare for the resale get to shop on Friday night. I snapped this as we waited to start shopping.

We always meet in this same spot to sort the things we have found. Everyone brings a clothes basket on wheels or a large bag to put their purchases in. I always find some great things and it is fun shopping with these ladies! We go out for drinks and appetizers after and it's so nice to catch up!

Our son had his second fall baseball game bright and early on Saturday morning and it was chilly.  I appreciate that some of my family still came to cheer on our baseball player!  Love you all!

Our son had been doing well hitting in machine pitch until earlier this week.  He's in a slump and having a hard time getting any hits!  The machine speed was bumped from 28 mph at the first game to 35 mph this game.  We aren't sure if that was the difference or not.  We are going to keep practicing!

I picked up my unsold resale items and my check on Saturday afternoon.  I made almost twice as much as I spent this time!  Best resale yet!  Saturday evening I picked up dinner and the kids and I played outside for a while.

This sweet girl loves to ride her big sister's princess scooter.

Love my boy!

I thought it would be fun to let the kids play on our corn hole boards for a little while.  Our 3 year old was so funny trying to throw the bags!

Look at that form. ;)

Her big sister went next!

She must have scored this time. Ha ha!

I had the boards closer together for the kids but our son was pretty good!

We spent most of today at home trying to get the rental cleaned and organized.  We also worked on our kindergartner's favorite nursery rhyme poster for school.

Although this poster makes it clear that there is not too much artistic talent in our family, I think she is happy with how it turned out!  That's all that matters.  She and our son are pretty good artists for their ages but Christopher and I are not all that skilled.  Every time I glance at the poster I think Bo Peep and her staff look like a dinosaur.  Ha ha!

It's not often that I say this because I miss the kids like crazy when they are at school, but I am ready for Monday.  I had a great Friday but the rest of the weekend things were off around here.  I'm hoping that the routine of the week gets us back on track!  I love that our 3 year old has to hang her Lalaloopsy bag (that she is actually borrowing from her sister) next to her older brother and sister's back packs. :)

 Have a great week!
