Weekend Wrap Up

I had planned to do a Sum it up Sunday post last night, but I had a cold this weekend that kicked my booty! It was just a runny nose, slight cough kind of cold but I was completely drained. I was asleep before 10 Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Thankfully I am almost back to 100% already today, but our son seems to have been next in line.

Our 3 year old and I kicked off the weekend with a fun Friday morning at toddler time with my friend Jen and her girls!

She loves the foam zone.

We went to the food court at the mall to get Chick-Fil-A for lunch and we let the girls ride the carousel after. We rode on the second level and our 3 year old loved it!

We browsed at a couple of stores and all three girls were trying to squeeze in to this chair. ;)

Jen treated us to some delicious cookies! Needless to say, she only ate part of the cookie while we were at the mall and finished it later. They were so good! Thanks Jen!

The older kids loved getting a cookie as an after school treat!

You can't really tell because he had already taken a few bites, but our son's cookie was a minion. :)

Our 3 year old and I ran to Target for a few things before toddler time on Friday morning and I found this three pack of totes for less than $5. I had been on Pinterest trying to get good ideas for how to organize our art/craft/school supplies and found an idea I liked at Sunny Side Up using totes similar to these.  If you ever need organizing or decorating tips, check out Erin's blog.  It's the best!

Our 5 year old helped me sort and organize our supplies in to markers/pens, stickers, and scissor/paint/glue totes. I love that they are clear and all have lids! Excuse the mess in the background. #rentalclutter

I also found these cardboard storage bins (the pink and yellow) in the $1 bins at Target and I think they will work well for all of our coloring books. They won't stay on our toy shelves once we move, but they are working there for now.

On Sunday morning we practiced as a family for fall baseball. My husband is looking forward to coaching our son's team. Our son still needs some work, but I am impressed with how much he has improved especially since he didn't play baseball in the spring.

This girl has no idea how to play, but she sure looked cute standing out there!

Our 5 year old hasn't played t-ball yet, but she has learned quite a bit from practicing with us. She will be ready for t-ball in the spring!

We do need to work on the rules though. She's holding our son back so he can't tag his little sister out. ;)

Three crazies standing in front of the garage doors at the new house.

I was doing laundry on Sunday and the shirt our daughter wore to the zoo on Thursday came out of the washer looking like this! I noticed she had something all over the front of it on Thursday, so I sprayed it with Oxi Clean. I didn't end up washing it until Sunday, but I sure didn't expect it to come out of the washer like this! I'm glad it was a shirt her sister had worn too so at least we got plenty of wear out of it.

Sunday afternoon the girls wanted to play outside while the boys mowed even though it was incredibly humid!

It's hard to see the names in the picture, but she drew Olaf (obviously from Frozen) and Chilly (from Doc McStuffins). :)

Happy Monday friends! I hope you have a good and healthy week!
