"Helping" with the beads
Carefully hanging ornaments. This year she chose the Hallmark ornament Minnie Tangled Up In Fun for her ornament.
I love that we have the tradition of getting the kids an ornament each year, and when they are old enough letting them chose which one they want. This guy was so excited seeing each of his ornaments as we got them out of their boxes. We couldn't find a Hallmark ornament that he really liked this year, but I found him an Agent P that he loves. As we were decorating, he said, "Mom this makes my heart beat so fast, I just love Christmas!!"
Hanging Minnie Mouse
While the older two and Mommy were busy decorating the tree, this girl decided to go through the Christmas movies!
They are proud of their work. All the ornaments hung in clusters and at the middle of the tree. :)
Love how they decorate.
I bought this little silver tree for our son a couple years ago and he really wanted to get it out and put it on his dresser. He used some of the "leftover" ornaments from the big tree and some of the special ornaments that he picked to decorate this one.
This sweet girl has been very interested in the tree and especially the ornaments. We have been telling her "no, ouchie" to try to keep her from taking them all off the tree.
Making her Christmas list :) Or maybe deciding what she should get Daddy?
This year we decided to put up our small tree in the basement. This tree has been around since before my husband and I met so it has seen better days but the kids loved that they got to put up their own tree in the basement. We only use silver and red ornaments on our living room tree so they used the other colors and some new kids ornaments on this tree. Daddy bought them a Thomas and Friends, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates set.
Hanging one of his Thomas ornaments
This one is small enough that they could put ornaments all the way up to the top.
Tickling the baby :)
