Christmas Decor 2012

I thought I would share some of our Christmas decorations throughout the house. I don't have nearly as many Christmas decorations as I would like, but we are getting a few things each year and I think the parts of the house that we have decorated look so pretty!

Our living room tree. It is mostly finished but I think I am going to add some more ornaments and look for a few sprays or ribbons to add to it.

Our mantel. We just got the letters that spell "Believe" this year and I love how it looks!  I wish the stocking hangers didn't cover up the letters a little bit but I still love the look and the color it adds, and of course the meaning which to me is both believing in Jesus and also in Santa Claus for the young and the young at heart as the symbol of the spirit of Christmas, residing in the hearts of those who love and give.

Our photo garland. I love this so much! I got the idea from Erin at Sunny Side Up and created the cards last year from each of the photo Christmas cards we have sent out since we had children. The only problem is that it is perfectly spaced and I am not sure where to add this year's card.

I love this season.  Our three year old is learning and singing Christmas songs like Away In a Manger, Oh Little Town of Bethlehem and For Unto Us a Child is Born and it brings me so much joy to hear her singing and talking about baby Jesus.  It really is the most wonderful time of the year!
