Our masked man!
Halloween snack time
Halloween night we braved the cold, rainy weather and took our little spooks trick or treating. We do celebrate Halloween. We love it for a fun family holiday and it's fun to dress the kids up cute and get candy! I just love that it's a fun family activity and the kids have a great time. We don't do scary costumes or Halloween decorations or ouiji boards or worship witches. It is a tradition for us to go door to door with my sister and her family. We went to the same neighborhood we have gone to the past several years. The kids were troopers and had fun despite being cold and wet, but after about half an hour the Moms decided it was time to go.
Our best attempt at a picture of our three in costume before we left for trick or treating. We decided to draw faces on our pumpkins this year instead of carving. I think Daddy and the kids did a great job drawing Izzy, Jake and Cubby from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Let's go get some treats!
Trick or Treat!!
Glad to be in the warmth of Grandpa Stan and Uncle Robert's house!
After making a stop at my Dad's, we went to a Trunk or Treat at the church where one of my dear friends from high school is the children's director. Loved that it was inside! The kids had so much fun!!
I loved my nephew and niece's costumes! They were Captain America and his sidekick in pink. ;)
The donut game. The idea is to eat the donut without using your hands. I think there may have been a little cheating going on here! I did my best to push my worry of germs aside and let the kids have fun. ;)
Yummy!
Playing one of the many games.
Our last stop was at my grandparent's house. Our guy was so funny putting his pirate hat on Great-Grandma's head. I love this picture of them!
We had a great Halloween despite the weather. We made a lot of great memories with our little loves. Considering what the people on the East Coast are dealing with, we have no complaints over a little cold and rain!
We went to my Dad's today to have lunch and cake and ice cream for his birthday. My sister made a yummy mayonaise cake, but I'm not sure what kind of icing she used to write Happy Birthday. It turned all of our mouths blue! Love this picture of Grandpa Bob though!
