Dump Trucks and Beans

I am always looking for new and creative ideas. I've discovered that a great place to find them is on other people's blogs. I was reading a post from MckMama's blog the other day where she made suggestions for indoor activities for the kiddos when it's too cold to play outside. It's definitely been too cold lately to play outside, especially when our little guy seems to have a neverending cough, so I thought I would try one of her ideas. I bought a bag of beans, dumped about half of them on an old cookie sheet and let our little guy go to work. It's one of his new favorite activities! What a great idea! She suggested rice or beans but I thought the rice would be a little too messy for my liking.
