The kids did not have school on Thursday or Friday last week. The roads really were not bad when the kids and I went out on Friday afternoon though. I didn't take ANY pictures on Friday. Christopher sent me this one of our sweet girls when I was having girls night with my friend Sarah and a friend of hers. We had a great time chatting and drinking martinis at a newer restaurant in town but I didn't take a single picture!
Saturday afternoon we ran errands including a stop at Target. The girls and I were browsing the $1 bins (Can't go to Target and not see what goodies they have!) and I looked over to see this sweet girl doing a little karaoke. ;)
They talked Christopher in to slushies and were happy as could be!
A little later in the afternoon we ran to Wal-Mart to stock up on essentials because the meteorologists had been predicting a huge snow storm. Both girls ended up in the cart together. ;)
Saturday night my sister Stacey, Greg and the kids came over. My nephew and niece brought balloons and my nephew made a dog for our 5 year old, complete with a face. ;) Ha ha! She wrote, "I Love Mom" on the leg a little later.
The cousins played well together! They were playing the Frozen version of Trouble. :)
Then the four younger cousins snuggled up to watch Frozen. So sweet! Our son was at a hockey game with Christopher and my 11 year old nephew isn't really in to Frozen. ;)
Sunday morning we woke up to SNOW! It is so beautiful.
I love how it looks on the trees.
These cousins had fun playing Xbox in their matching shirts. Unplanned matching. ;)
I feel like you can really tell they are cousins in this picture! Excuse the goofy smile on the older one's face. ;)
The temperature was in the 30's so we took the kiddos out to play in the snow.
Love these kids!
They tried to build a snowman with Uncle Robert but it would not pack!
The snowman building was unsuccessful so we put the boys to work. ;)
He is the sweetest little guy!
Our beautiful girl.
This sweet girl was not happy that the snow was falling in her eyes. ;)
My mini me and I
My brother's dog Dozer apparently loves the snow! He was running around like he was crazy. Ha ha!
The kids had the best time sliding down this old plastic slide. It's the little things. ;)
Hilarious!
She got brave enough to slide down on her belly like the big kids.
I love this one too!
My favorite guy! (The one in the blue) ;)
Then Uncle Robert couldn't resist trying the slide. Ha ha ha!
Father and son :)
This picture doesn't really do justice to the amount of snow we got on Sunday, but this is taken on Sunday night and as you can tell it was still snowing!
Have a great week and stay warm! We will be digging out for the next couple of days. ;)
