On Friday my kiddos were on Fall Break and my nephew and niece happened to be on fall break too. They had never been to the Zoo Halloween, so we decided to make a trip together along with Grandma Pam.
I had to have a group picture before we went in. :)
On today's visit we had a watermelon fairy, Elsa, Anna, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and a Ninja.
Trick or treat!
All five kids with the friendly witch :)
We were able to spend a little more time at the zoo on Friday because we had perfect fall weather! The kids had fun in the mini straw maze. I love that #88 is photo bombing without even knowing. ;)
They listened to a lion puppet tell a joke or two.
The kids in the Giant Pumpkin Patch. Someone needs to teach Elsa to sit like a lady!
Anna watching the sea lions.
The girls watching the sea lions. Thanks again for braiding Elsa and Anna's hair Aunt Stacey!
My race car driver. I don't know where he gets his love of racing, but he is so excited about this costume! And his favorite race car driver won on Sunday!
Another group photo of the kids.
The kids were a little scared of this scuba diver made of pipe. Ha ha!
Another stop for treats.
My three little loves and I
Sisters!
We made a quick stop at Target after the zoo to let the older kids pick out a book or a movie for doing so well their first quarter at school. I saw these caramel apple Oreos again and decided to try them. I am not sure what I think about caramel apple in a cookie.
We had a low key Saturday morning. The girls and I ran to the "big red library" and checked out a huge stack of books! We already have so many books at home, but they love checking them out from the library.
This sweet girl always picks a book or two and sits at this table to look at them. :)
Our kindergarten girl learned how to check out her own books.
Saturday was my sister's birthday and we had a sibling and significant other's night out. I think it was the first time we have all been out together! Our youngest brother took a break from his college Olympics weekend to meet us for dinner. As you can tell, Robert looooves having his picture taken with us. Ha ha ha!
Happy Birthday dear Seester!!
Travis had to get back to college so he left after dinner. The 6 of us decided to go to a local small town bar so we could have a drink and play pool and darts.
I tried to get a picture of my sister and her boyfriend of 13 years and this was one of the first ones I took. Ha ha!
This one is better. :)
The girls!
Robert and Clarissa
Christopher managed to stay out of all the pictures from the night. Sneaky! ;) We had a fun night out and I think Grandma Pam (and Grandpa Ken until he had to go to work) had a great time hanging out with five of the six grandkids.
The last time we went out for Stacey's birthday was when she turned 21. That was just a couple of years ago. Ha ha!
Christopher and I celebrating Stacey's 21st birthday. This was about 7-8 months after we started dating.
Greg and Stacey. My nephew was only about 5 months old at the time and I remember Stacey being so nervous about leaving him. She does not look like she just had a baby 5 months ago!
We went to a birthday party on Sunday for Sarah's younger son. The kids had a lot of fun but I didn't take any pictures! We went to the new house after dinner and the kids ran and played in the driveway. I love that they will have so much room to run and play and just be outside once we move!
They had fun playing in the leaves while Christopher went through the house.
I loved that we were able to spend so much time with family this weekend. I hope you had a Happy Birthday sister. I love you!
