My friend Sarah's boys are his best buddies so of course we invited them too! There ended up being 8 boys total plus our 2 girls.
The birthday boy!
Love these boys!
Listening attentively as they got rules and instructions. ;)
They were able to do the trampolines, dodge ball area, basketball area and foam zone during their hour jump time.
The foam zone is always a hit with the kids.
The second grade boys loved the dodge ball area!
My father-in-law took this one of the birthday boy playing dodge ball.
I got a few fun shots of some of the boys playing basketball.
Sarah's second grader :)
I love that I caught them mid-jump.
It was great that we happened to have the party planned the same weekend that Grandpa and Grandma came to visit from Wisconsin! Grandma kept an eye on the girls, Grandpa took pictures and Christopher and I kept track of the boys. I made sure I got at least one or two pictures of the girls with my camera though.
She was having a moment because one of the staff members told her she needed to jump in a different square, but she decided to smile for me with Grandma in the picture. ;)
Grandpa Larry took this great shot of our kindergartner in the foam.
This girl loves the jump place so much!!
Our daughter wanted to try basketball too. She didn't come close but at least she tried!
The birthday boy and one of his friends from class.
After their hour of jump time; we had pizza, ice cream cake and gift opening in the party room.
Boys!
The 8 boys celebrating our guy's 8th birthday!
And the pretty little girls! They loved that they got to have pink jump socks to celebrate breast cancer awareness in the month of October.
The kids couldn't wait to get their piece of the ice cream cake! It was ridiculously priced at $30 for the cake, but we had a coupon for $20 off a birthday party so it was almost covered. They don't allow you to bring in your own cake or cupcakes, so ice cream cake it was!
That smile! ♥
Make a wish!
Gift opening. I've always said we weren't going to have toy guns of any kind in our house, and we really haven't. I just found out this weekend that our son actually told my mother-in-law that he couldn't have a squirt gun they had bought him back in July so they returned it! He got two Nerf guns for his birthday though and he can't wait to play with them!
Grandpa Larry got one more group shot before the boys left. Ha ha! I love how our kindergartner is photo bombing next to her friend.
After all the boys left we took a couple quick family shots. We were really happy that Grandpa and Grandma were able to be at the party with us. :)
The birthday boy and I ♥♥
I'm glad Larry got a decent one of our family of 5. We never take pictures of all 5 of us anymore!
It was a great time celebrating our birthday boy! We love you so much sweet guy and we hope you had the best time at your party!
♥
