I'm not in pictures with the kids very often so I asked one of the zoo staff to take a picture of the girls and I while we waited for Carissa and the kids. #excusethescrawnyandwhitelegs
Their pose in this one! Ha ha!
Carissa was babysitting a 2 year old girl today so we had these 5 kiddos with us.
There was a 30% chance of rain all day today and at some points a 50% chance. We were lucky though and didn't have any rain while we were at the zoo!
Many of the animals were more active today than what we normally see them, including these monkeys. They are fun to watch.
Carissa's parents told her a trick with a quarter and the sea lions. Supposedly, if you hold a quarter up against the glass and move it around in circles a little bit the sea lions will come right up to it. It didn't work today but the sea lions did put on a good show for us. We will try the quarter again next time.
Hands down my favorite picture of her today. Love it!
Sweet sisters on the bridge.
Love it!
We don't normally go see the red panda bear but it was really cute.
Playing in the waterfall. :)
I bought a ride pass for the summer at our last visit and we let the kids pick one ride each time we are there. Today was the carousel.
Our monkeys in the tree house ;)
Komodo Dragon pile up
My girls wanted their picture taken with Mr Orangutan ;)
She stood in front of the penguins and said, take a picture of me. Ha ha!
I'm not a huge fan of brushing the goats but the kids all wanted to do it, so we went in for a few minutes. Our 3 year old was much more brave than our 5 year old!
Carissa's son was so cute brushing them.
Our 3 year old was brushing them so nicely too!
I was walking out with Carissa's 5 year old and our girls and thought it would be cute to take a picture of them standing next to a goat. (I don't know why so many of them were standing on the tree stumps today?) A goat brushed up against our 5 year old and scared her. You can't see her screaming right next to her friend. Ha ha!
