Winter Wonderland Field Trip

Our daughter's preschool class had a field trip this morning to a local cake and candy supply store that also offers educational and instructional classes. Their class was called Winter Wonderland and they made three yummy treats! Our son had a similar field trip when he was in preschool and I blogged about it here.

I have to mention how much I appreciate my step-dad being willing to watch our 2 year old so I can go on field trips and help in our son's class, etc. I usually spend more time driving to drop her off and pick her up than the actual field trip takes, but I remind myself it is worth it to make these memories with the older kids!  He traded nights with a co-worker so he would not need to sleep and could keep our daughter and also ended up taking our son to school because he had a 2 hour delay and our daughter didn't, so her field trip started before he needed to be at school. Thank you Grandpa Ken! ♥

The first treat they dipped Oreos in milk chocolate and white chocolate. Yum!

Then they decorated the white chocolate cookie with a penguin, snowflakes and sugar for snowy sprinkles.

Dipping her Oreo.

The room where they do the classes is a little crowded but the kids seem to love this field trip!

Love my girl! We got there just a minute or two before the class started so she wasn't able to sit next to her closest friends in the class but she didn't seem to mind that much. Her future husband was at least in the same row. ;)

Decorating her cupcake to look like a snowman.

Finished snowman cupcake :)

The Oreo treat turned out so cute!

My girl and I with the treats boxed up and ready to go!

And last but not least, all three goodies inside the box!
