Princess Presents

Our 2 year old princess was not feeling the greatest at her princess party. I was sad that she did not really seem to enjoy the party. She had a little bit of a cold earlier in the week, but I thought she was fine by the day of the party. As she was standing next to me opening presents, she vomited on my leg! It was so unexpected; I think I might have screamed. It happened so fast, but I know my Mom, mother-in-law, sister and at least one friend jumped up to help. Thankfully my friend Adrienne lives close by and we wear the same size so she was able to run home and get a pair of jeans for me to wear! ;) I have to say in all the birthday parties we have had, this was the first time anyone has thrown up at one! And it had to be one of the birthday girls. :( Needless to say, we saved the rest of her gift opening for home!

Yesterday I finally got around to having her open her gifts at home! I put her in her birthday party outfit and the other girls in princess dresses and we had our own little party. :)

We have several of the Minnie's Boutique sets. We love them and it seems like girls anywhere from 2-6 really enjoy playing with them.

The other princesses :)

I'm glad I captured so many of her hilarious facial expressions. She cracks me up!

A Minnie Mouse tea party set! She loves Minnie; so much that I might have done a Minnie Mouse party if we hadn't already done one for our now 4 year old when she turned 2. She calls her "Mimmie".

Another of her funny expressions

She also loves books. We got her the book, "Are You A Cow?" to add to our collection of Sandra Boynton board books. :)

Yay, a Potato Head!

That face!

Love that my friend Kelsey has bought the girls each a set of "prettys" the last two years as part of their present. They wear a "pretty" nearly every day. :)

:)

I'm glad we waited to have her open her presents when she was feeling better. She had a great time opening them! She loved the Minnie Mouse beach towel my friend Sarah got her.

One of her funny expressions at the hat for the Potato Head.  She loves it Adrienne, thanks!

She is giving her new Potato Head a bath in the kitchen sink. The girls love their new play kitchen from Grandpa Larry and Grandma Jane. It's so pretty! (Thanks for the idea Auntie Anne!)

What "party" is complete without a little princess basketball.

Thank you so much to everyone for the wonderful presents. They are truly "fit for a princess"!
