Around Here Lately

I realized today that I had accumulated a lot of pictures on my iPhone so I thought I would do a quick update on what's been happening lately here at our house.

This little lady loves to "help" load and unload the dishwasher 

A happy guy opening an early birthday present from Uncle Patrick and Aunt Anne. He is having a Jake and the Neverland Pirates themed party and absolutely loves his treasure chest!! 

Yay the dishwasher is open again!! 

There are so many things wrong with this picture. I could start with both kids hair being a crazy mess and the mister's pants being too short, but instead I will focus on the positives because let's face it life isn't perfect. I thought it was hilarious that they were both "riding" our broom. Shortly after I took the picture he told her, "get off cowgirl". 

Let's not talk about her bedhead hair either! This is what happens when Mommy tries to put on makeup after the kids are up for the day. Can we just say this girl is Trouble?! Yes that deserves a capital T.

I love this picture. Despite how naughty she was being by pulling every wipe out of the Kandoo container! The way she giggles when she's caught makes it so hard not to laugh.

For some reason he has been pretending that the cozy coupe is his house and it has to be crooked? 

Our sweet baby will be 17 months tomorrow and I think we can (almost) officially say she is walking! She's taking at least 20 or more steps at a time. I LOVE watching her walk. She is so excited when she does, especially when she starts going really fast. I thought it was so sweet that her big sister wanted to help her tonight.

With his birthday coming up our son decided to draw invitations to his party for all his favorite Disney characters. I have had a hard time explaining to him that they are just cartoons and can not really come to his party. He wants to mail the invitations to them and I told him they don't have an address. I was explaining this to my sister-in-law and she found a blog with an address where you can send "fan mail" and get an autographed photo of their favorite characters. I typed up a letter to each of the characters and will mail it with his picture enclosed. Hopefully he gets at least one response!
