Full

Our little man has been saying the funniest things. For the longest time, he was always "full". Not when he was finished eating, but every other time you could think of. Whenever he did not want to do something basically or he was just in a grumpy mood, he was "full". On any given day he would be full of me, of Daddy, of Grandma or Grandpa. He would be full of Barney, full of his trucks, full of his movies. This went on for at least six months, maybe closer to a year. One day during my maternity leave I was going to count how many times he was "full" in the day. And just like that, he's not full anymore. I can't remember the last time I heard him say he's "full". It's a little bit sad actually. He's learning so much so fast these days that I figure maybe he realized what it really means to be "full".

A sample conversation would have went something like this:

Me: Do you want to go see Uncle Robert today?
Him: Full Robert (often sounded like "a full Robert")

Me: You need to take a nap, you can take Barney with you.
Him: Full Barn

Me: Do you want to watch Thomas the Train or Bob the Builder?
Him: Full Thomas Friends. Full Bob.

A few other funny phrases from our little man:

Me: Honey are you ready to go to bed?
Him: "Not quite yet"

At the gas station:

"Have to get a washcar Mom?" He loves to go through the "washcar".

About his sister:

"That my baby", "HI big girl!", "Baby needs fie"

Going to see my husband's family:

"Go Ma with gogs house?"

There are so many cute things he's saying and I can't remember that many right now but I wanted to do a post with these so I don't forget some of the things he's been saying. I will have to add more as I think of them! Just this week he was singing the "happy birthday" song while he watched Sprout and he's also become a fan of The Wiggles. He likes to tell us "five more minutes" and "one more time" pretty often too. We've had a great week as far as behavior which has been wonderful!
