Baby girl you are FOUR MONTHS OLD!!
What are you doing at four months?
You have learned to grab - you are most interested in the necklines on my shirts and my hands. But you love to grab toys and hold on to them now, especially your pink doggy and elephant.
You smile when I talk to you and you just love attention. You always have a big smile for Daddy when he talks to you. Just the other night when I was kissing your cheek you had your first real laugh. You also think it is fun when I lift you in the air.
You turn to look at us when you hear our voices. You are always watching your sweet (and noisey!) big brother while he plays. You love him so much! He's already showing that he is going to be a protective big brother and refers to you as "my big girl" and tells people "that my baby".
You are so tall. You really aren't very chubby - you are just long! You are in the 95th percentile for your length!
You are wearing some 3 month and some 3-6 months size clothes and a size 1 diaper, but I think it's time for size 2.

You weigh 12 lbs and 13 oz., although I am pretty sure the nurse said 12 lbs, 8 oz. when we had you on the scale. Your chart says 12 lbs and 13 oz. though so we'll go with that. You always love to lay on the scale when you have your well baby checks. You are finally getting a little baby fat on your legs and thighs and it is so cute.
You like to eat about every 3 hours during the day. You normally eat between 8:30 and 9:00p and then again between 5:30 and 6:30a. Thank you for that!
You really only cry now when you are tired. You will still normally go to sleep within a few minutes when you are swaddled and have your pacifier. You are constantly reaching for either mine, daddy's or your fingers to chew on them. We think you are teething but maybe you just like to chew. You love to see if your whole hand will fit in your mouth!
You love your bath. You just chew your fingers or your whole hand and lay there . You are always so content at bath time.
You are a pro at rolling from your back to your belly and you often get stuck on your belly which makes you mad! You actually started rolling from your belly to your back first but it seems you might have forgotten that trick. You've been spitting up more now that you spend more time on your belly. You still sleep in your bassinett and swaddled in your miracle blanket. It's probably time to transition you to your crib and stop swaddling you but you sleep SO well that I am afraid to change anything! You are just the happiest, sweetest little baby and you have brought nothing but joy to our lives. We are so blessed to have you! And yes Mommy did have your cute headband on a little funny in the picture below but you have the best smile!
