We waited until two weeks before the camp to tell her that we had signed her up. She was SO excited to find out that not only did she get to do a ballet camp, but that her best friend was signed up too!
The two of them had the best time! I knew she was doing the camp before the spring resale that I volunteer at and shop, so I picked up a couple of ballet outfits there. Her friend is 10 months older than she is and tall for her age, so Robin also gave us a couple of outfits that she's outgrown which was so nice!
I shared this edited version in a previous post, but it's so cute it is worth sharing again!
On Wednesday I snapped this picture through the glass door as we waited to pick up our little ballerina.
Her instructor posted these pictures from Wednesday also.
The cuteness! Our daughter's friend looks a little sad; Robin and I were thinking maybe because she and our daughter weren't partners.
Pretty ladies!
I took a quick picture after class on Thursday.
They did a little performance for the parents today. It was adorable!
They started the performance with a dance using brooms they had made as a prop.
Then they were supposed to hide the wand they made in their middle.
A group dance.
This is her "Oh no" face. They were acting worried because they couldn't find the prince. ;)
I wish this wasn't blurry but it is still so cute!
This one is blurry too but again, so cute!
Their instructor gave them all stickers and told them what a great job they did this week following the rules!
Robin had told her kids they could go get a piece of delicious chocolate after the performance and invited us to come along. These bestie ballerinas had such a fun week together!
Inside after they ate their peanut butter and jelly chocolates. :)
These two really have the sweetest friendship!
As we were walking out, the kids all sat on the bench so of course I had to take a picture. I think our 3 year old might have a little crush. ;)
Take 2
They asked if they could do a crazy face after the nice picture. Why not?
This seemed fitting for the end of this post. I know I was wearing a perma-smile watching the performance today. There is nothing better than seeing your child doing something they love! ♥
