This is not a sight you want to see when you're meeting a builder rep to go through a new construction and you need the kids to go in with you!
I did manage to get out of the house long enough to get our Christmas cards in the mail!
Our 4 year old was thankfully well enough to go to school on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday we made our pretzel hugs for the year. Our preschooler was a great helper and she loved making the treats for her teacher and aide. We also made enough for our son's teacher in addition to the group gift from his class and for his reading teacher. I was happy to find four glass trees we had left over from last year to put them in!
Sorting the m&m's :)
We used a big cookie sheet this year and it fit over 100 pretzels!
Step #3 Add a HUG to each pretzel
Almost ready to go in the oven!
Add a Starbucks gift card and the preschool teacher gifts are ready to go! :)
Our daughter had her class Christmas party on Thursday. I was one of the Moms asked to help plan the party, but the Mom coordinating the party pretty much took care of everything. Sarah was another helper and we bought the cupcakes and helped supervise at the party. ;) I wasn't sure if I should even go because I had to take our 2 year old with me and she was still running a fever off and on; but she did okay and thankfully it was only a 45 minute party!
Love that I got her with her best girl friend in the class and her best boy friend in the class. They were intently listening to "The Night Before the Night Before Christmas". :)
This guy only had to miss school on Monday but he was still extra tired all week! He never naps and this is him while we ran a couple errands after school on Thursday.
Friday was their first day of Christmas vacation and we hung out in our pj's all day. Our son started complaining about his ear hurting after yet another (very unusual for him!) nap. Then Saturday morning our 4 year old was saying her ear hurt too, so we spent the morning at the pediatrician's office. Both of them have ear infections. Hated that we had to be there on a Saturday morning but I love this picture of the three of them (besides our sweet 2 year old being mid-cough)!
I'm so ready for them all to be healthy again so we can celebrate Christmas! We have a lot of wrapping to do!
