The Christmas season is in full swing around here! The kids are so excited about Christmas this year and it has definitely put me in the Christmas spirit. We got our tree up the Sunday after Thanksgiving but didn't get it "fluffed" and decorated until the following Wednesday. Our guy asked us a million and one times a day when we could decorate it! What better day than his first snow day from school to get it decorated.
They loved seeing the ornaments they got for Christmas last year (Mickey's Choo Choo Express and Jessie from Toy Story 3) and putting them, along with ornaments they each picked out this year (McQueen and Francesco from Cars 3 and a pink Minnie Mouse) on the tree first. It is definitely going to be a tradition of ours to let them pick out an ornament each year. They are so proud of the ornaments they picked. Sadly Jessie no longer has a hat or part of one arm but she is still hanging on the tree.

Suddenly this big girl is sitting unsupported for short periods of time! Just in time for a couple adorable pictures in front of the tree.
I love this girl. She asked me to take her picture in front of the tree. Of course pretty girl!
Right now the ornaments are all still where the 5 and 2 year old decorators left them, which means the top half of our tree has maybe 4 or 5. I bought some new ornaments today and plan to use those to fill in the gaps. :) I think all kids hang them in clusters on the bottom half of the tree, but they are so proud of the job they do!
