Unfortunately I did not do a newborn photo session with my first two sweet babes. 1. I didn't realize how incredibly adorable the pictures would be. 2. There was no way I was taking my newborn to a studio for pictures at less than two weeks old! I worry entirely too much about germs to be doing that! I had Easter pictures taken of Little Mister and The Sister on April 1 by a friend of a friend who did an amazing job. She is a college student that is working on building a photography business. Her prices are so reasonable and she is great with the kids. I loved how the Easter pictures turned out and couldn't wait to have her do a newborn session.
With a little prompting from my friend Sara to get the session scheduled, we did the photo shoot in our house on Monday, May 10 which also happened to be the first day I had all three kids on my own. My mother-in-law had gone home after an almost two week visit and my husband was working. I had been so nervous about how I would do with all three and yet I still scheduled pictures for that day. Chelsea was so patient though and so great not only with taking pictures of the baby but with entertaining the older two while I nursed or did whatever else was needed to get the baby photo ready. She ended up being at our house almost four hours. I love how the pictures turned out. She really does an amazing job!
