At one month our newest addition still seems like such a tiny babe! She eats generally every 3 hours during the day and has just started sleeping a 6 to 6 1/2 hour stretch at night! Even right from the beginning she was usually only up twice during the night. I can't believe she's sleeping a long stretch at night this early. I am so thankful! Her older brother was up every two hours for what seemed like the longest time. She is such a happy and content baby unless she is hungry, wet or tired! She is napping most of the day with short periods of awake time after each feeding. She is wearing newborn Pampers swaddlers and newborn clothes. Even some newborn clothes are still a little big on our peanut. She sleeps swaddled in her Miracle blanket in her bassinet by our bed.
We have loved having this sweet baby in our family. She has brought us so much joy. We are getting adjusted to being a family of five. It helped so much to have Grandma Jane here from Wisconsin for almost two weeks. She played ALL DAY LONG with the older two which was so much fun for them! I was actually a little worried they would think they had the most boring Mom in the world once I was on my own with all three because I just don't have time to play that much while caring for a newborn but I'm happy to say we have all adjusted just fine!
I am a Mom who worries about germs and I think in the first month of your older brother and your older sister's lives they went very few places and probably most definitely not any public places. Life sure is busier now. You attended three of your big brother's t-ball games, your cousin's soccer game, your big sister's birthday party, went to Grandpa and Grandma's several times, and we had a playdate at our house all in your first month! Below is a picture of you and your little buddy. He's just about 4 months older than you are. I didn't take a "one month" picture but my friend Sara did take these pictures of the two of you when you were exactly a month old so they will work!
