Sara and I. This girl is one of my oldest friends. We have been through a lot together; the good, the bad, and the ugly! We were talking the other day about how much our lives have changed from high school until now. I'm so glad her family was able to come.
Adrienne and I. Love her and so do my kiddos! She almost always brings a treat of some kind when we see her. The kids loved the Laffy Taffy's she brought tonight. I'm so glad we have stayed close friends after I quit my job to become a stay at home mom!
Jacinda and I. I was happy her family came after such a busy few days! It was great to spend time with them at the shower earlier in the day and at the party in the evening. Their schedule is always packed when they are home so I really appreciated that they took a few hours to come hang out with us. Love you guys!
Sara's youngest son playing in the sand box.
Our 4 year old loves to swing. Anywhere we go that has swings, that is where she will be!
Sara's middle son
And her oldest. The kids were coming up with lots of different ways to go down the slide.
Our 2 year old loves to slide as much as our 4 year old loves to swing. She is so independent! She didn't want me to wait at the end to catch her.
Our son showing us another interesting way to go down the slide.
I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked to but I am glad I took a few. It is hard to take pictures, chat with friends, chase around 3 kids (very thankful to have help from Grandpa and Grandma with that part!), and play a few games of volleyball. It was a fun night with family and great friends! Thank you for hosting Mom and Ken!! Love you guys!
I have said it a lot in the last two posts, but I really love being surrounded by family and close friends. I am so thankful for a supportive family and for girlfriends both old and new that I know I can always count on. Nothing makes me happier than making memories with some of the people I love most!
