Risen!

We started our Easter with church where my Step-dad and Mom attend and where we have been regularly attending. It is a small church where the Pastor gives everyone a hug as they leave the service. They don't have the biggest and best kids program or a lot of families our age with kids the same ages as ours, but it does feel like "home". I can't say it is "our" church because it would be nice to find something a little closer to where we live, but there is something about it that makes me leave each Sunday feeling loved, blessed and closer to God.

After church we went to my Step-dad and Mom's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.

She may have trouble keeping the eggs in her bucket this way. ;)

The "Easter bunny" hid the real eggs inside the house and the plastic eggs outside. We started the hunt inside the house.

Pretty girl! You can see the rash on her chin from falling off the slide at the Easter egg hunt on Saturday. :(

She's ready to eat the eggs!

Our sweet nephew. It's so easy to love this kid!

Tough guy? ;)

Grandma and Grandpa with the grand kids.

She looks like our little pilgrim girl.

The hunt is on!

Helping our baby girl find a few eggs. It was pretty chilly looking for eggs outside so we all had to put on hats and jackets! I didn't have a jacket with me so I had to borrow an old one of my Mom's.

The boys must have spotted an egg at the same time!

We had a nice afternoon at my Step-dad and Mom's house celebrating our risen Savior.

Our God is not dead- he is ALIVE!
Celebrate!
